If you think about it, though, it actually looks like you just added a whole other room to your house and that's the new doorway. Pretty ingenious, Savannah! I love the rustic wood look, we just made a rustic style desk that kinda looks like repurposed barn boards. Great project. So great that you both worked in it together.

I am actually thinking of creating my own large staircase mirrors but not quite that large. It’s good to know about the bracket to hang large pieces so that i can hang my mirrors without worry of them falling.

I would've put the L bracket on the front, as well, and painted it matte black. To make it lighter, would you be able to use the craft board that's shiny on one side and like pegboard material on the other?
