Tried stepping up my deer game with 1st focal plane, after a couple hunts remounted the 2nd focal plane to the rifle. For me, hunting in the 150 yard range max it is not worth the light loss at dawn & dusk to go 1st focal plane. At least with the early 50mm Mostrum. 1st plane is super cool though I just put it on one of my SKS with 2 scope rings on one side of the tube, only way that it would work, done. I breech laser bore sight prior to every hunt/shoot so not worried about it. Covered it with velcro since ejected casings can hit the tube.

hey duplex red dot bdc in ffp is the best all around rectical for hunting or target shooting you can zoom to see were your center point of aim is and see your shots to see what correction you need to make.and what ever zoom you have it set at it will always be the same.

strangly, in germany ffp is regarded being more suited for hunters and sfp for sportshooters.

Did he say "rifley so" instead of "Rightfully so" on purpose?
