One more thing incredible about them is that they have SO MANY amazing songs that they simply have to drop some fans’ favorites from their concert set lists. That hardly happens with many other bands. “Puzzle” and “Daydreaming” have been dropped from some of their recent live concerts... because they simply have too many songs to perform. Can’t even fit an awesome song like this into their 25 or 26-song concerts because there are just as many equally awesome ones.
Yes, puzzle and daydreaming is my favorite song, but they have so many good song to perform, and they also keep making new song. (Insert "suffering from success" memes here)
The best way to appreciate the music and talent is to hear and see them live without a doubt. Also, an exciting time to continue the journey with Band-Maid as the new Album is coming in December.
The Gold Rush interviews are from 2016. They are still awesomely funny interviews, but the ladies have evolved and grown a lot closer as friends and band-mates since then. They have also become much more awesome musicians and performers since then.
What I liked about this video was how much fun they were having on stage. Great reaction video. Looking forward to the many reactions in the future. You can't go wrong with any Band Maid songs.
Another great reaction!!!! Glad you like them, they are just extraordinary. Five girls, 20% each contributing to the whole - all are equal. The mix in their songs puts each one on the same level. Best hard rock band on the world.
Probably other comments complement the backstory of band. So I show you other lovely thing about name of some members. (It's not officially.) Almost Japanese people have kanji name. And each Kanji have each meanings. Band-Maid members too. Saiki, in Japanese "彩姫", "彩" means "color" or "coloring", and "姫" means "princess". So her name means "Princes of color". Akane, "茜" means "deep red". When we use "akane iro(color)" it express "color of sunset". And, Kanami, her name is very interesting, "歌波", "歌" means "song" and "波" means "wave". Kanami means "wave of songs". Really lovely! (Miku's name is always only katakana-character and MISA always in alphabet. I cannot know meanings both ladies. But I can guess when Japanese girl's name have "mi", often use "美" means "beauty". ) Next "Play (live)" or "Freedom" please! Band-Maid dose not have any bad song.
Jimmy Page requested and got a picture taken with Kanami - google for picture. In playing the drums you need to lead all the other instruments and the vocals as well = making them better. Kanami is like John Bonham was to LZ.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
If you are interested in learning more about the band members themselves, some really great interviews from earlier this year have been translated and posted online. Regarding the interviews... Both parts are good, but the whole interview also contains four 90 second segments of Band-Maid songs. The two in Part 1 are for "Alone" and "Real Existence", which are worth saving for reactions, so I'd suggest fast-forwarding when the songs are on. The second part contains parts of two earlier songs "Shake That" and "Don't apply the Brake". Neither of those two exist in any decent youtube clips, so you might as well watch those. In the interviews, it's great to appreciate the contrast in characters and in how they play. None more so than with Kanami, the on-stage guitar legend, and Kanami, the off stage shy and has-a-rather-obvious-crush-on-Saiki young woman. You will also notice (if you read the comments) that there's a mistake in the description of MISA's outfit in the subtitles, being described as "Croatian maid" when it should be "assassin maid" - the Japanese for Croatia (Kuroachica) and assassin (koroshi-ya) are apparently very similar.
Thank you so much for letting us know this! 😘😍🥰 We love learning more about the artists that interest us. We will be sure to remove our headphones during the music segments so we can save those for reactions. 🥰😍😘💕
FYI Puzzle is a very sad song of an unanswered love and Saiki sings fast and staccato when she tells about a lonesome sleepless night when the puzzle (love) is crumbling.
@@KDarlings I could tell! So much great stuff still in their catalog. Stick with it, if you stop reacting to them to early you'll prob miss some great ones.

The person that posted the pronunciation was a little bit wrong lol. It isn't pronounced Kay-na-mi. It's pronounced Kah-na-mi (soft A sound). The drummer is Ah-ka-ne. I hope you get to 'Moratorium' , 'One and Only' , and 'Onset' soon.🙂 The gold rush interviews are probably the best ones on RUclips (the AbemaTV one was the best, but it was taken down 😕). I really like Mincho's (Kanami's nickname) guitar solos. I really hope that they make an extended intro or outro in one of their songs. Band-Maid currently has four instrumentals: Onset, Without Holding Back, Go Nuts, and Don't Be Long. Another entertaining reaction. 🕊️ Po!
@Lezul Yaj Gnisas Although Akane was chosen to be "band leader" when they started, mostly because she seemed like the most responsible person, she mentioned in a recent interview that BAND-MAID no longer has a "band leader" position. Akane is doing a lot of the sequencing these days though.
@@rickwagner- I wasn't going that deep. On stage she is always the one to directly address the crowd. And she is FREAKIN' hilarious when she does it. MAGIC TIME!
Yeaaahh!! Another band maid reaction!!love them all, the lead guitarist (Kanami) is talented musician she's also a song-writer, the drummer (Akane) is the funniest one, and she can play the piano and trombone, the rythm guitarist/backing vocalist (Miku) is the one who founded band maid, she's cute and kinda weird😂, bassist (Misa) "God level bass player" and the lead singer (Saiki) she's cool and good at dancing! Next: Moratorium live (great performance)
nice, just the drummer's name is A-Ka-ne the pronunciation of the other members is OK. But I wouldn't worry too much about it. They are very much a straight up Rock Band with a real nice raw energy power about them.
This song, throughout the whole song, Kanami is basically playing a continuous solo riffs. It's amazing. "Puzzle" has a very nice lyrics. It's about two lovers. They also did an acoustic live version as well. By the way, Akane's name should be said "Ah Ka Ne" - Japanese is Mora-timed. No one syllable should be emphasized like in English. So, don't put a stress on Ah part. No character takes more time than other characters. So, say it in equal interval. When you were saying Ahhkane, it sounded awkward.
This might be the best band in the world right now...certainly the best band that too many people don't even know about! Check out Alone, Play and hell, they are all great. But try Bubble too, it's a bit more "proggy" with a mix of pop, but it is quintessential BM. Just shows their depth and diversity of creativity...but man Saiki is so good on this track...she can do it all.
Great review. This live version is fantastic, and “Puzzle” is a beautiful song. As great as the musicianship is, Saiki’s vocals are amazing. While her voice isn’t as powerful, Miku perfectly compliments Saiki with her backing vocals and her sweet, pleasant voice. FYI, Miku is the founder of the band and is the main lyricist for their last few albums. I’m sure you’ll receive many suggestions for songs. There are no bad songs from band maid, so review them all.
Nice you decided to watch Music gold rush interview. They did a good job on translating in general but if I remember correctly, there are two errors. 1) When Misa comes forward, her costume was mentioned as 'Croatian maid'. The original Japanese was 'Koroshiya-foo-maid' and meant to mean 'assassin in Maid cloth 2) There was a mention of Miku fell on slippery water. "Mizo ni Ochiteru" was the original Japanese and the translator mis-heard "mizo(from the context it meant trench or ditch)" as 'mizu'(water), so actual translation should have read 'Miku fell a lot for no reason. when we are walking together all the sudden she is missing and we find her fell flat in the ditch" This is fairly early interview so I also suggest you watch '4 years later' interview with Miku and Saiki . This is fairly short one but give some interest insight on what has changed ruclips.net/video/Wp3_NSrWrHk/видео.html
Mika real name is Mika Noguchi (as far is said in more than one place) I was not able to find her kanji. The real name of MISA is hard to find out. She is so reserved.

For pronunciation, just find a guide online, or remember that the Japanese alphabet is syllables, rather than letters, normally a consonant followed by a vowel. They are always unstressed and completely phonetic; a is like in "cat", e like in "red", i like in "tin", o like in "hot", u like in "up". This can lead to words sounding a little clipped at the end, particularly for words end in "e", which is why English speakers find it hard to say "A-ka-ne" rather than "A-ka-ney"
K Darlings I mentioned previously you might want to choose a better audio version and watch this on your own. Or, you could do both this version and the MV or their Live version from Studio Coast or Zepp Tokyo live.

It's pronounced Ah-Kah-Nay not Aka Nee. Why is the sounds so bad? You need real head phones to hear the bass.
See my comment on the sound. The bass is mostly in the left channel.
Ah-Con-Knee
Could you please react to this Band Maid performance. It's in a really small club in Germany a couple of months ago, and it's really all you need to know about Band Maid, it's a bit long but there a drum solo and guitar solo in it. Something for everyone
You are talking about the performance at the LOGO that was captured by Vladimir Chupin, right?
@@johnmatthew102 yes I forgot to put the link
@@jameswelsh598 Just went back and watched it again for about the 5th time. What a performance it is! It now has 45k views and has been monetized so they may want to touch base with Vlad in order to use his upload, but he's always been cool about it in the past. ruclips.net/video/RxmRiWHZ3TI/видео.html
@@johnmatthew102 It's a great performance and the sound is better than I would have expected from a fan-cam. I used to pay for bootlegs with worse sound quality than this, actually... ha!
Hi from the UK something for you it's a band called nightwish . try the songs
Story time wacken 2013.
Ghost love score wacken 2013.
Song of myself wacken 2013
For the record...MISA plays barefoot on-stage.
Now next is awkward live alone live moratorium live
With regard to the drummer name pronunciation, you should put the emphasis on the second syllable rather than the first syllable, and pronounce that third/last syllable as "nay": ah-KAH-nay
Good try , all good except you pronounce Akane Ar Car Ne ...with e being a short vowel as in egg. Keep up the BM reviews , love em.
3 females. Music and talent level are the same as BAND-MAID. Wait until you see what they are wearing! VoB (Voice of Baceprot) - School Revolution ruclips.net/video/4aZX-C8HKJc/видео.html

This can lead to words sounding a little clipped at the end, particularly for words end in "e", which is why English speakers find it hard to say "A-ka-ne" rather than "A-ka-ney"
please react to Band-Maid / Alone (live @ Comiccon London 2016)
Added to our list! We are looking forward to it! 😍
K Darlings I mentioned previously you might want to choose a better audio version and watch this on your own. Or, you could do both this version and the MV or their Live version from Studio Coast or Zepp Tokyo live.
@@KDarlings thanks i still wait for this reaction because it's Akane focus play, :)
