As usual great tutorials. I will start learning Grasshopper, which should I take and begin with books or online courses?

This is very great video tutorial, thanks for making it. But this is not complete. I open the Grasshoper file from your website and it is quite different with this video, example how you copy the frame where in this video group it first than replicate, but not same in grasshoper file that you shared in your website. But thank for making it and shared to youtube.
I try to follow the script and stuck when creating a bracing. Why your line are dotted when you put it to the "list item" command in bracing script ?, if you don't mind to answer.

Thanks for your comment. I did not realise I had put a more advanced script version on the website. However hopefully both the tutorial and script are useful so I will leave them both there.
The dotted line means it is carrying a 'list of lists' rather than a plain list of items. I had a look at the website version and it does not use the 'list of lists' as it flattens the them when entering the [list item] components. You can see it flattens the list with the down arrow symbol. You do need to flatten for the script to work.
      Hope that answers your question.

@@StructuredParametrics Hey SP, is the more advanced script still availible? Looking to add girts/purlins as per typical spacing to the script too.

You could use our steel structural modeler script for that. Have a look at our website.
