All forms of art have always been about expressing ideas and I feel like music is the biggest art form that is about expressing yourself. Lyrics are written out of ideas from someone who wants to share something with others and the music to compliment that invokes an emotional response to the lyrics themselves. Music has always been about sharing who you are, your story, your feelings, and your love. It is devastating that the industry sees it at, "They had their 'hit song,' moving on to the next person." Damon Albarn is a genius ☮️🕉
ive been needing this video for years.
"in a world where you can construct pop stars, why do you even need them to be real people?" perfect reasoning to gorillaz virtual band concept
That ytb channel is my favorite. The work and research combined with quality entertainement is fire dude!
A cool video idea could be on "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits and the downfall of MTV.
👍
An iconic video , iconic song & iconic summary by Polyphonic ! 🎸 📻. Damon , is a genius.
Polyphonic analyzing Feel Good Inc.
What a time to be alive!
I love your channel so much, everytime you upload a video I get so excited because the topics you chose are so damn interesting!
Just yesterday i was thinking someone should do a video essay breakdown of this song. Thanks for reading my mind ☺️
Ive been listening to this song for 17 years and never even thought about this. Wow
Jackson C. Frank and his song Blues Run the Game have a great story, guy has one album, produced by Paul Simon, who went on to cover the song as part of S&G. His album also influenced Sandy Denny, Bert Jansch and Nick Drake
Should’ve done the entire album, it’s a masterpiece.
How DARE you make a video on one of my fave bands and songs?!?!
ha
hahahaha
hahaha..
I'm gonna fucking kill myself
This joke is hilarious and pleasing. I will proceed to laugh abundantly.
This is like the perfect message in a song
From Jimi Hendrix, to Gorillaz.
I'm so happy I've found this channel 🙊
GREAT GREAT VIDEO 🤙
Your videos never disappoint, I love channels like this!
Actually the El Mãnana music video isn’t made by Gorillaz, it was a real event that happened. During the filming of El Mãnana, Noodle was shot down
man i was in love with the song feel good inc just because of the beat i didn't know it would go into so much depth of the real world in how much it changes us but it was a great video overall and it puts more meaning into what Feel Good Inc was meant to be. Thanks!
THANK YOUUU SO MUCH. I LOVE GORILLAZ
ya know, i hate the fact i can recognize deeper meanings, but im never able to actually realize it. seeing you making a video that explains my thoughts for me, is actually pretty damn amazing, thank you
Just like every other video on this channel; Mind blown
I had no idea the levels of this stuff. Excellent work, as always.
Darkly dystopian baseline... I remember why I wasn’t here for a long time.
Yeah, I never really liked polyphonic. The only thing I really like is the editing, but even then it looks like an advert for some commercial.
that little drop on the intro music always gets me
Gorillaz debut album was the first ever CD I ever listened too...its hard to believe its been 18 years since that Album dropped..
Clint Eastwood !
This gained my sub, this breakdown is on a whole other level.💯
Exactly the week I come back to Gorillaz, Polyphonic makes a video about Feel Good Inc. How is this possible?
I knew the rap to this song off by heart. I love this song!
and the ironic overuse of the song itself ... and the lack of comprehension by the masses. top 10 in how many countries?
The trick with capitalism is the same like The Matrix or The Devil .. it’s knows it’s shouldn’t take fight up with the creative or the rebellious .. but give them what they want without going on compromise with theirs own greedy goals or anything else themselves..
Oh ho ho ho, yes. How I despise those foolish peasants.
@@elijahfordsidioticvarietys8770 lol this isn't hot topic
Sine Nomine oh ho ho ho, yes. It’s called a snob laugh, idiot. Now excuse me while I jump into my limo. It’s a Tesla.
@@elijahfordsidioticvarietys8770 tesla is mainstream AF, try EV West
One of my favorite songs of all time. It's great to learn the meaning behind it.
Would love to see a video done on death grips or gojira
OMG yes a Death Grips video is definitely overdue
Yes to both of these
Great video, always loved the song always knew there was a deep meaning behind it, but never really investigated in it gj loved it
