    I was trying to run ROS on raspberry pi for so long. Thank you so much for the image ! You can't imagine how many OS I tried and installation from sources failed

    Hi thank you for video. I'm wondering what are the orange clips you have that holds the Nyboard and the Raspberry Pi together. Even on the Bittle Petoi site they mentioned if solder on the socket, you won't be able to install the back cover of Bittle. I would like to have those clips that you have.

      Hmmm, nothing special about the clips. I just put some hot glue on the top of the clips and then put the cover on them.

    I wanted to get the Biboard to use in ROS to improve the dynamics motion. Will u guys recommend to get the sensor pack together with the Biboard? Thank you.

      There's no "guys", it's just me running the channel, hahah. Anyhow, sensor pack is not necessary for improving dynamics motion, just Bittle and BiBoard is enough.

    Is it possible to use bluetooth or wifi dongle on a Bittle and run ROS on a Ubuntu laptop instead of Raspberry Pi?

    • @Hardwareai
      @Hardwareai  4 года назад

      Yes, by all means. Although quite obviously you won't get a camera feed this way.

      @@Hardwareai Why? Bandwidth is to low?

    • @Hardwareai
      @Hardwareai  4 года назад

      Well, Bittle has ATMega 328p on the mainboard in standard package - this is same chip as in Arduino Uno, which is way too slow for real-time video transmission. It is possible with ESP32 though

      @@Hardwareai I pledged for video camera with bittle. I see it won't fully work without Raspberry Pi 😟 Biboard is to costly for me. Maybe I should take Biboard instead of camera and buy RasPi camera later? What you would recommend?

    • @Hardwareai
      @Hardwareai  4 года назад

      Hmmm, the camera that you can order together with BIttle on KS is MU Vision sensor, you can find the full description here - www.seeedstudio.com/MU-VISION-SENSOR-3-AI-Robot-Vision-Camera-Supported-by-Arduino-Micro-Bit-p-4449.html
      It will work without Raspberry Pi - it's just as a more advanced developer I opted out for ROS and Raspberry Pi, whereas MU Vision Sensor is more suitable for beginners, since it has simpler ready-to-use API, but not open-source.

    May I know what is the brand name of your web camera?

    • @Hardwareai
      @Hardwareai  4 года назад

      Oh, well. It is really just the cheapest generic web camera you can find on Taobao- I tried posting a link before on RUclips, but RUclips erased my comment... There's nothing special about camera though, except for the price (about 3.5 USD)

      Oh, so the question about brand name - I think it doesn't have a brand name xD
