Preyah you're the bowgun lord of MHFU please teach me your ways! ;u; I started playing monster hunter 5 years ago with world, then played rise and then 4u, but man freedom unite has been absolutely destroying me. There's just such a lack of good guides/info for the game and we rely mostly on gamefaqs threads from over a decade ago lol do you plan to ever do a progression guide for at least heavy bowgun users? Like, what skills are useful and should prioritize, and even just how to pick your bowgun in general. I always feel wrong just copying a set from a video without knowing why it works so well, so I'd like to know how more experienced hunters see stats and choose their gear in this old, unforgiving game Dx
Bowgun path is really unforgiving in this game, not all monsters are great matchup for bowgun. Plesioth happens to be one of the best matchup. Unless you're playing with a party of four and just spam traps and flashes, keeping monster at a spot while you and your party can just shoot at that juicy weakspot without interruption. Let's see, progression? I'm not even full bowgun user, since I'm actually using HH until Nekoht. But Black Gravios being rocky as usual, I decided to use bowgun after looking at mazereon's video. How easy it was to just pew pew Black Gravios stomach area with water s and then it dies 3 minutes later. If it's about recommended skills for bowgun, I'll try my best since I'm quiet busy now.
