Thank you CapCut for giving me the opportunity to even make videos like these, and here’s to a great 2025!
3:02 I can explain why Marsh just sits there, remember how in the race some contestants experience bad memories which distract them? Marsh is hit the hardest as she's had some of the most drama in the show (with Apple, Knife, Etc) the distractions distract her and she trips, and she can't get up as she's engulfed by her dramatic past.
My main problem with this episode is how easy it was for the contestants to get back. The race is not an obstacle for the most part it felt like a convenient for the contestants to get back willy nilly. How I would fix this issue is cut the Suitcase and Box character interaction since the whole interaction didn’t do much for either sides, and then have the race be way more climactic. That is just my opinion though and your allowed to have your own.
There's another thing I find silly, which is when the Prime shimmer meet Cobs, Cobs was wearing a necklace with Meeple symbol and the Prime Shimmer didnt freak out like in ep 14 when Test Tube show Fan's phone (And they actually follow Cobs and get hit like seriously-) Also i was rlly expecting a scene where Marsh could at least say thank to Knife after he sacrifies his life for her but instead she's just happily sing with Bow at the end
@handyes42 Fan did not mention that Meeple nor thế symbols are unharm or sth so the Prime shimmer might not know that Meeple and the reality show has a connection. Even though if its like you said, PS should be more aware of both Cobs and Mephone4, it make no sense when they just blindly follow Cobs
@@LeeMarcy brian has said that because fan had the meeple symbol then they think that cobs might be connected to the reality show and they still ask questions to make sure that they are connected they didnt fully trust cobs
my main issue from the episode, despite really liking it, is that if you're a fan of season 3 and want to see how they treat the characters from that season, you're basically out of luck. It's extremely weird to me that for something that is meant to be the big finale for the entire show, it feels like season 3 is left in the dust compared to the other seasons. Like Bot straight doesn't appear despite being one of the most influential charscters there, and only appears at the end with one line. The thing that gets on my nerves though is the fact that Springy is basically just....killed off for no reason. Like he just appears in MePhone screaming, dissappears and doesn't show up again. I wouldn't have really cared about this if this wasn't for the choice that MePhone literally decided to save his life in III's finale. Doing this basically just nullifies his choice at that episode and just feels very wrong. I genuinely cannot tell if they want you to watch III before II s2 ep 15 and the movie or after, because it feels like they want to watch it after, which just spoils Nickel and Balloon becoming friends and the existance of most chatacters and plot developments. But if you watch it before, you aren't really going to feel satisfied with their rep here. That's my real big issue with the episode though, otherwise it's a damn good finale
they didn’t focus on the season 3 characters in order to not basically spoil the whole show for newcomers. a bit of a lame reason but theres no other show tmk that skips to another season as the previous one stays dormant so i can’t really blame them
I’m pretty sure Brian confirmed that Bot doesn’t make a big appearance because they wanted the s2 contestants to shine more than the s3 contestants, since obviously they already had their big moment.
@@Whyiseveryhandletaken6942 it seems like they’re probably saving that for its own ‘episode’/short. Which, fair, that kinda thing does deserve its own spotlight rather than being part of some other plot.
Also this would be big spoilers for s3 because brian said that he wanted to make the finale watchable without watching s3 and that you could watch s3 after too without being spoiled on the plot
i do agree the main reason they had marshmallow be the one who falls behind was solely to give knife a sacrifice that felt like he developed more, but her not getting up was pretty in line with the other contestants that had the hallucinations like tissues, you just don't see them because its from knife's perspective. i think if they made her look more like she was having the hallucinations it would work a lot better but i just thought it was like tissues and taco who needed help from soap and mic respectively. ofc this is just how i interpreted it and in the end i do agree it was kinda unnatural feeling, so feel free to disagree!
One thing I've recently started thinking about this episode is how... artificial it feels. It feels almost fake compared to the raw emotion of scenes like Nickel's II2 elimination. Let me explain. Everything feels like it happens because it has to. Despite being my 2nd favorite, MePad's sacrifice made me feel nothing as he could have very easily teleported MePhone out of there, but no. Instead he took the blow for him because a character death is just what should happen. Don't even get me started on MePhone, his apology at the end felt so fake. "He loved you all so much, and I know he would be proud" the VA felt like he lacked direction Somehow he always knew what to say to the contestants and Toilet, especially 3GS. MePhone never knew what to say or to be honest with people, that was a crucial part of his character, and him suddenly doing a 180 for the happily ever after feels like he's only saying that because well, the writers wanted him to And about the egg, you're telling me EVERYONE was fine with the revival system being gone? Even Nickel and Knife, who've been selfish for a large majority of the show? Balloon and Cheesy who could die at any moment? For an egg that's probably never going to hatch? It solidifies my point, it all feels fake. It feels like a bland, uninspired happy ending for a show that was iconic for it's grounded and deep emotional complexity compared to other object shows. Seeing it be reduced to every character being stripped of their personality and turned selfless and friendly isn't satisfying
Also I just couldn't care less for Box. She's nothing more than a plot twist and an infodump for what happens after deletion, way too little screentime for her to feel like she's a part of the cast
@ItsLiakTheCat I didn't even begin to list the problems I have with it lol. Technically the very fact it exists makes me mad due to me preferring 17 as an ending Still it's like a 5/10 there are definitely harsher opinions
@@KiiBon Nah, If Inanimate Insanity ended at ep17, pretty sure the whole fanbase would have gone mad. Ngl, I been thinking a lot about an argument for your comment, but I can't think of any xd. Anywho, I don't think II is an object show that deserves a Bad Ending. Those guys already suffered enough. And letting Cobs win? Is a no, no. And yes, I'm fully aware about ONE having a bad ending, and still being one of the most popular Object Shows
Nickel and Knife had gone through a massive character arc throughout the show. So them being willing to give up basically immortality for the sake of the greater good does fit. MePad teleported in front of Mephone while Cobs was already in the stabbing motion so he wasn’t fast enough to be able to teleport them both to safety. Mephone doesn’t even say the right words he just says what he feels and thinks at that moment after Cobs’ death.
My only real problem with the finale is how little screentime most of the characters got. People like Bomb, Cherries, Cheesy, etc. (along with the entire season 3 cast) got next to no dialogue and screentime. Pretty much everyone is just sidelined unless they're absolutely crucial to the plot. They probably could've fixed this issue if they made the episode a bit longer, maybe bring it to a full hour? Regardless, I'm still happy with what we got, even if it could've been improved.
They are an indie show and this episode probably already took a lot of time so they would’ve had to delay for multiple more months to get to an hour but they also probably were sticking to a budget.

Marsh was hallucinating as we can see she had the same thing that happend with mic and tissues but she didnt have that person to save her until knife made up for all of the killing he has done and saved her
hard agree, knife was already “redeemed” by episode 15. marsh randomly just started to have feelings about knife killing her and bring it up after years. it felt like such a stupid reason to turn knife into a ghost. mepad dying would’ve left a greater impact especially since theres almost no way in which he would be able to come back (besides help from test tube but shh). now we just have 2 deaths that felt pretty forced. its a huge nitpick imo but i still really hate it
Yh I didn’t like this episode that much bc for me it was mostly bc it felt rushed and some charaters had no screen time (trophy and yin Yang silver and candle the floor goo clover and some others) even the cheesy and bombs interactions only had felt like happening bc they needed it to give them more screen time.
