Very nice video, and airplane! 1000 hours! How many other Velocities are over the 1000 hour mark? Love seeing a Velocity that is really put to the test and flying a lot. It would be great to hear to a recap of your first 1000 hours.
I just don’t like the idea of the windshield having to be cut out from the fuselage if it get damaged. You have to use a rotary saw to actually cut into the fuselage to replace the windshield if you can’t stand the scratches anymore.

Is this an old video? I thought they resurfaced 5/23. When I did my first flight at X26, that runway was like a dirt road.

Super easy to replace the windshield. I’ll make a video next time we have to do it. And you can sand and buff out scratches to an extent
