The emperor needs to take a back seat once and a while and let cairan rant 😂
This is becoming my absolute favourite series very quickly
By far the best podcast series on RUclips. Hanging out for the next one already.
Funeral for my fisherman's friend was priceless😂😂
If someone was to describe this to me there's no way would I think this should work but it's brilliant and Its the only podcast I can watch from start to finish and be engaged the whole way though. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant podcast. Love Cairans rants, esp. when he goes off on the emperor. Would love to see you look at Irish myths/histories like around Mad Sweeney or Abhartach and see which parts you think are real
Ciaran would be a great history teacher..fountain of knowledge with a lil comedy thrown in. More people would enjoy history class
An episode on if Hitler actually died in the bunker or fled to Argentina would make an interesting discussion
Did you watch it?
@@MikeCdawgg absolutely!
17:23 the Spanish where protectors of the Catholic faith in these times until the rise of the British empire as far as I know
A wee episode on Alexander the Great's conquests, the fallout of his death and, for Shane's enjoyment, Pompey Magnus claiming to wear his armour in his triumph. Think Ciaran would be in his element, and there's plenty diddies if you use the Oliver Stone film for references!
Mick Hucknell.... that got me😂😂😂
I could definitely do that in 2 days.
Genuinely love these 🤣
Im dying at slash bowl ffs lol
Laughed meself yampy lads lovely way to learn ...but do not forsake the emperor😂😂😂
Loving the biblical investigations! Keep em coming
Definitely missed out on the chance to say Holy Bowly.
You guys are just too good XD
Would love to see you guys with Markus, also known as Dankula, on the next Podcast because he's got some wild Myths he knows of from Scotland
Another reason why it may have been brought to Spain is that there was a Jewish settlement in Southern Spain called Tarshish that the Apostle Paul visited . Also Joseph of Aremathea was a tin merchant who would have had trade contacts around the Med and Atlantic .
I tripped over the slash bowl when i was a kid
Got to love a Mythstory 👌🏻
I heard a discussion among several academics from small Christian groups from Africa and the Middle East (Coptic, Ethiopian Orthodox, Maronite) who claimed that European Christians confuse 3 different artefacts. IOW, Jesus' personal cup from the last supper was separate from the larger cup/small bowl used for serving wine to the apostles, and a third cup was used at Golgotha to catch blood from the side wound. I recall them saying that neither cup from the last supper would have been handy at the crucifiction, where they would have been surrounded by enemies.
Judas's carryout😂😂😂😂😂
The 'Historical Jesus' has always fascinated me. Always wondered what the actual dude would make of 2000 years of questionable acts carried out in his name.
Fascinating share!
Knew thered be a billy connelly last supper reference
Awesome. Don't make it a limited series.
Looks at that knitwear, impeccable
Loving these
Yo did you copy my homework?? 😉Love the show!
18:05 😂
Moon Landing/ Mars etc
Also can we get an episode on the siege of Vienna? ....where the winged hussars arrived
I have no idea if I’m getting smarter or not listening to this 🤷♀️

The shadow of the mic makes it look like a shit stain on Shane’s shirt
