When you said you were gonna count to 3 and raise your hand, i bursted out in tears thinking how much god has been trying to get me to hear his words but sometimes i just pretend not to hear anything. ive been telling myself that next year i will give my entire life, not a tiny bit consisting of just coming to church, but giving it all. I think that today i realised that god deeply wants me to fulfill this. so here i am lord.
I always feel so relieved when i watch a sermon. Over this past week ive never felt so relaxed && no worries, i felt like the weight of the world was lifted. So i thank God for the reassurance that he has got it handled. I was losing my faith && you guys have reminded me that God will never leave me.

This was truly phenomenal, thank you all so, so much
2017 was a year when I lost many people in my life. My dad departed from our family, friends turned their backs on me, and I just had to let go of a lot of people in my life. And there’s the assignment of bringing people to Jesus but they don’t; they just won’t. And I was ready to leave all these people behind. But I saw Pastor Steven’s sermon on “Benefit of the Doubt” and suddenly there is hope again inside me. And by God’s grace, I saw this video right after watching it and now this one reminded me to not give up on those people. I have issues; they have issues. But I have to go to the street again and make Jesus known to others. When you had us make the list of people to share Jesus to, I immediately knew that Jesus doesn’t want me to turn my back on those people I lost and instead, just as Jesus did, look for the “somebody” who needs Jesus. Thank you for this Sermon and no, you’re not stupid, Bro. Larey. You’re a wise man filled with the Holy Spirit. God bless you, Pastor Steven, and the whole Elevation family.

Yesterday my girl found a conversation with another girl. I don't know if anyone would understand how I feel right now. This stupid decision happened because I can't accept that she loves me someone born with one eye. I swore to God that I would accept the fall if I cheated on such a great person and I let the devil tell me to distance myself

I think elevation is wonderful. The only thing I disagree with is them spending SO MUCH OF THE TIME ASKING FOR MONEY. I know I’ll probably get all kinds of criticism for this but it’s how I feel. If they truly value everyone in the congregation they should respect my opinion as well. I’ve only attended twice and honestly out of maybe an hour and 10 min combined of sermons. I would bet 45 to 50 minutes of it was spent asking for “gifts”. Forgive me but I’ve attended many churches throughout the years. Some good some bad, but none have ever stressed money this way. I absolutely know churches can’t operate without tithing and donations, but I believe god will put it in your heart to give and it should be left at that. And honestly if I didn’t really really enjoy going I wouldn’t say anything. It’s because I liked it so much is why I’m speaking out. I believe if something is on your mind you should be able to say it. And now that I’ve said my piece I’ll wish everyone a truly blessed and beautiful Christmas.
