I needed to hear this, even if it’s 4 years later. I prayed to work in full-time ministry my whole life. I had such passion for God’s house. I’d even volunteer during the week consistently. After a few months of volunteering, the church hired me. Opening the offer letter was honestly such an amazing moment for me. That was just over a year and a half ago and I now find myself frustrated and complaining to myself way more than I should. Thank you for this message, I needed to remember WHO I’m doing it for ❤

Got led to this Sermon on THIS Day 1/1/24. I need to get things right with God and with Me. And I heard the Spirit of God tell Me, "...get back to Your First Love." I Believe God used those Words specifically to speak to My Heart in a way known only to Him and Me. I don't want to go another step without Him, My First Love, into another New Year. Lord, give Me the Grace I need to Love You MORE and to know You MORE. For Me, this isn't a "New Thing" - it's a "LOVE Thing." THANK YOU JESUS for talking to Me about what I NEED to do - FOR You. Listen people. The one who took your passion, your evil desires and our enemy satan, do not have power in the world that belongs to Jesus Christ! We are victorious because of him! Claim your passion and take it back! It’s always been there waiting for you to come back!
God, we lift up We pray that they will experience Your presence in a new way today. Help set their heart upon You and Your Word! May You guide their path towards You, Lord, while deepening their relationship with You. Fill their mind with Your thoughts and ways, and provide community that strengthens their resolve towards You. Got led to this Sermon on THIS Day 1/1/24. I need to get things right with God and with Me. And I heard the Spirit of God tell Me, "...get back to Your First Love." I Believe God used those Words specifically to speak to My Heart in a way known only to Him and Me. I don't want to go another step without Him, My First Love, into another New Year. Lord, give Me the Grace I need to Love You MORE and to know You MORE. For Me, this isn't a "New Thing" - it's a "LOVE Thing." THANK YOU JESUS for talking to Me about what I NEED to do - FOR You. Whew if 2024 is starting off like this, WOW I can't BEGIN to imagine what else He has not only instore for Me but for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debbie “dying to self.” It’s a call to absolute surrender. After each time Jesus commanded cross bearing, He said, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?” (Luke 9:24-25).
