Ah, yes... Outliner pens. Remember those back in the 1980's. The most common were the silver with the red/reddish-purple outlines. Apparantly, there were other colors as well. One of the most fun things I liked doing was pushing the tip and dripping the ink on styrofoam and watching it disintegrate the styrofoam.... good times, lol.

As someone who's handwriting is still heavily cursive, I kinda internally screamed upon seeing F and S, and was dissapointed that you didn't do the H in one stroke. Other than that, nice video.
That was wonderfully satisfying to watch - so precise! 🥰🥰 I prefer the cursive G and H I learned back in the day….speaking of which, those pens were all the rage when I was in elementary and middle school (in the 80’s). What a blast from the past! 🤩

I'm curious- Am I the only one who sits through the first like 4 letters but then skips to the end because I don't have the patience to sit through every one?
I had to take extra lessons as a child to stop adding unnecessary loops to my letters but when these people do it's called "fancy" or beautiful, my teachers were so rude 😒
I’ve watched quite a few of these now and they are so relaxing. As someone who has atrocious handwriting I was relieved to see that he/she isn’t a robot and for the first time ever I thought a couple of letters ( I and M) were a bit ropey although I guess this was as much to with the gimmicky pen rather than any fault of the crafts person.

I can still smell these pens, 30 odd years later. Had a metal ball in it. These were the “IT” pens of the 80’s at Claire’s and Spencer’s.
