We meet these two a few weeks ago at Mount Dare, just as nice in person as they appear on video. It’s doubly impressive watching Isabelle throw those wheels around because she really is a tiny lady, but 100% muscle. We headed across Madigans and fortunately everything worked perfectly so didn’t need their services. Good vid again, thanks.
Fantastic news that you made it across the Madigan Line to Birdsville. Thank you for your kind comment, Isabelle surprises many people with her ability to change tyres. All the best, and safe travels. 👍🏼
Been there a few times now but only for fuel, beer and a feed, rather than repairs. Great show - only thing I'd add is a temperature reading so people can appreciate how hot it gets out there,
Love watching the true bush mechanics at work. Amazing mechanic getting it done in the outback. No Supercheap auto just around the corner making do with what they have. ( Also hidden in the fine print plumbers as well 😂) Please keep sharing this amazing journey please 🥺
Been in a few camps around QLD, Glencore and BMA are pretty good. Life’s on a strict timetable and generally only in camp during dark, up early and back late.
Cyclone conditions tore the windmill down.. The bore hasn't been operating from the windmill in quite some time, but it is a great feature of the place.
Love your work guys. It'd be a real treat to come and have a few tins with you in person and chat about your adventures. Can you hang about at Mt Dare til next year when I'll be rolling through the Simpson? 😁
Thanks again for a great vid... Was hoping to get to Mt. Dare a few weeks ago, but ran out of time! Love your vids - you both make it interesting and explain things well!
As a retired mechanic, I see working at Mt Dare is more just a mechanic parts swapper, great workshop to conduct a trade as you do everything mechanical and have the ability to repair everything....and plumbing....
Loved the new vid. Lots of variety and interesting things. The plumbing was fun to watch and gross haha. Jeremy's explanation of air in the brake lines using a syringe was really good.
Good to see you guys !!! Had a great time with you two crossing the Simpson in May and thanks for all the help and good advice. Travel safe and hope to see you both again
Successful engine conversion? Easy, 1HZ to a 1HD-FTE with tuning chip. Went from 50 rwkw to 182 and still going strong 4 or 5 years later. Zero electrical problems with it after doing the Simpson Desert twice (before your time there) and 3 laps of Australia coastal and inland and to the Cape and Gibb River Road etc etc etc. Just gotta be smart about it and plan it out properly :)
A Maverick, GQ Patrol, finally one of my cars but with an engine conversion, not sure about that, my 4.2 has done 353,245ks and still doesn't burn any oil or just a little bit when the carby choke doesn't shut off quick enough, I would put a V8 in my Maverick if I needed to change engines, we shall see. Have a good day.
Charge big dollars out there not like they got any option. Heard a bloke got charged a $100 to use a shifter for 30 seconds to tighten nut on his back wheel of motorcycle
Fantastic little explanation the brakes. Love your stuff.
Thank you Phil. Glad you got value from our video. :)

This is cool, really like these vids, super interesting...you deserve way more subscribers
cheers
We appreciate your comment, thanks 😊
Thanks for the demo, makes it really easy to see why air in the system is such an issue.

Just subbed to your channel. Love the content, good old fashioned "old school"

Good to see back in the work shop. And general. Take care guys 👍
G'day Mick, hope to see you back at Mt Dare one day. Thanks for watching. 😃
Awesome, perhaps in the off season you have a go at the poor old windmill. Outback icon.

Intersting to see what breaks. Great videos thanks.

Bad Brake booster can be a nightmare for bad brakes as well
Another fantastic video
Cheers mate, thanks for watching!
All over it 👍
Issebelle plumbers only need to know 2 things crap flows down hill and pay day is Thursday
Actually shit can flow uphill if it’s pumped and pay day is Wednesday 😂
And don’t chew ya fingernails
Spongy pedal is standard in Prado 150 isn't it ? 😞

My 79 came with the 1HD-FTE already in it from the factory, and I have had it from new. Keep it standard and you will have no problems.
Good episode..One question... why dont people use the Ford Ranger to travel in rhe outback.. is it because the chassis's snap in half 😄😄
Thanks for watching! Many people do travel in Ford Rangers surprisingly
Well done to both of you. Great stuff. Was interested to see the issue on the Ultimate camper as I have one.
If the engine don't pop first!
Cover that windscreens mate
The live chat was over within 23 mins!
We didn't realise there was a live chat. We will be onto that next video! 😁

Chinese whispers go a long way. The workshop fee per hour is $120, and that is cheaper than the city so that's more than reasonable.
@@LapsofMaps I don’t go any further than where the tram tracks end. other wise I’d get lost😄
Ultimate campers HUH,.
You really cant go wrong with a non turbo Barra
What’s a Barra?
Awesome work guys..Love the videos
