you loved this man....took care of him...paying a tribute to him...completes it all....you were strong enough to handle the critics when your husband was gravely Ill...continue being yourself...and nurture that Empire your husband started...you're an inspiration to the nation...even to stand up...on the stage and tell the world how wonderful your husband...duduzeka cc....Rip Mandoza
I love love love your comment. I see some have already found fault in her paying tribute. I'm sure they are part of those who were saying negative things about her husband as well some people live a life of pulling everybody down.
i couldn't hold my tears......well done Mama Mandoza and be blessed with your children, God will surely guide and protect you. You are such a strong -willed woman and God bless you . May your husband ' the GREAT NKALAKATHA MANDOZA' MDUDUZI TSHABALALA REST IN ETERNAL PEACE
Yes! That's a real African woman. That's real Ubuntu! That's why as African we never had street children and did not need charity organisations because charity begins at home. Charity begins with the mother Goddess. And you are the embodiment of the African mother Goddess.Hamba kahle Nkalakatha your spirit lives in us all!
U are my hero, you did your part as a wife and mother, you met him when he was only 20 and you grew up together, lets honour Mpho with respect especially ladies need to stand for each other, I am an African man very proud of sister Mpho, God bless

how can a grieving Zulu wife be paying tribute to her husband during his funeral??????this is not in Zulu norms.attention seeking women makes me sick to my stomach nxxm
Her name is Mpho. So perhaps she is Tswana, Sotho or Pedi. Culture is not static, it grows and changes, just like time. I see no problem with Mpho celebrating her man. More so if Mandoza was okay with how they lived their lives and how they related. Who are we... with our observations and cultural expectations, to cast judgement on how they ought to grieve. Wena observe your culture as you best see fit. And allow Mpho to do the same.

I am still shocked....maybe we are old fashion because this is unacceptable
Her name is Mpho. So perhaps she is Tswana, Sotho or Pedi.

Huh..i am shocked too. Even here in Namibia a widow is not allowed to pay tribute to her husband.
African's Zulu, Xhosa, Shona, Chewa etc are not allowed to pay tribute, u just sit ur little butt down until everything is over
I dont see whats ur problems her talking about hubby we grieve in different ways let this woman talk about man the way she wants.
may your soul rest in peace Mandoza
