    Do they usually flower? Mine do every year and the flower spike smells strongly of vanilla

      yes they will i live in ark, and they do well indoors, same temps as yours, but they do need light

    With all due respect fleshy leaved sansevierias are considered succulents. succulent is a generic term for any thick leaved, stemmed or rooted (caudex) plants that uses those specially adapted organs to store water during drought and sansevierias fit into that category. Succulent is not a species or genus it's a collective name for plants including cactus that have the capacity to survive droughts by storing water.

    i have 3 large ones of these and mine are in bright light, they do have to have light to grow, they simply do not do well in low light, no such thing really as a low light plant, even light from a lamp is better than nothing,
