    This was so helpful! Thank you Katie for sharing:) The tone curve always scares me, but that was helpful to watch. I would love to see how you edit digital images and match them to you film scans!

    Hello, great vid. I notice Wedding photographers do the “light and airy” look where the sky is completely white. I thought this look was achieved in post but it seems your unedited images already have the sky looking white instead of it’s more bluish color. How do you meter to achieve this on film?

    Hi Katie! Thanks so much for this helpful video. :) Maybe you already mention it, may I ask which scanner you are using? Noritsu or Frontier? Thank you!

    What Lightroom presets would you recommend to get the same look as your film?

    • @KatieNicollePhotography
      @KatieNicollePhotography  4 года назад +1

      Hey Morgan! I highly recommend checking out The Archetype Profiles... they are AMAZING and are the best “presets” I’ve ever used. Join the group on Facebook and if you share some raw files, people are nice enough to edit them for you before purchasing ☺️

    Great video Katie!
    I'm not a wedding photographer but it's very interesting to see your editing process!
    You just taught me something with the pink HL on the tone curve haha.
    Also, how do you meter on location?
    Do you use an external light meter or does your Contax 645 possess an internal light meter?

    • @KatieNicollePhotography
      @KatieNicollePhotography  4 года назад +1

      Thanks so much Mathieu! I’m glad you learned something new haha... and I use an external meter for my contax 645 :) it’s more accurate then the internal one

      Hey Evtim! Thanks for watching and following along!! I use Photovision film Lab in Oregon and they scan my film on Frontier ☺️

      Good stuff) That's surely the better option especially if one tends to shoot more and more film. The time needed to visualize the images is definitely a factor.
