MI is Michigan. Poor Aunt Ellen - The black sheep of the family! So glad you escaped her fate, and retired happily playing with your paper dolls. I like your tutorial AND your story, Deb. Thanks for sharing.
So fun! I was thinking with your left over feet you could raise a house up an inch off the ground with several feet underneath and call it Moving Day. 😂
Unmistakable Aussie accent, as soon as I heard you speak, I subscribed (because we don't have many Aussies who make videos using Tim's products). I'm in regional Vic. Great pieces, loads of fun. Love your album. Cheers to you too...Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi.
I love both pieces. I really enjoy seeing your inspiration piece and then your take on it. Enjoyed hearing one of your family stories too!! As someone already commented, yes, Ann Arbor is in south eastern lower Michigan. It's home to the University of Michigan. I lived there many years ago, it's such a fun college town. Sometimes called the city of trees. In the spring time the entire city would bloom with beautiful flowering trees. It was so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this video.
@@stringscissors Yes, some of the images of larger cities are often not the best. I live in northern MI, surrounded by woods and water. Our area was even voted "the most beautiful place in America" by one of the national morning news programs. Our state is surrounded by the 5 Great Lakes.
Once again you've made a more stunning picture than the inspiration piece. It really came together once you switched out the houses. It needed the color. I love the girl behind the bars and your family story fit her perfect!! I now call you Debra the Mad Scientist (for chopping off body parts) in a fun way!! Hugs * L

thanks Michele, I always think of Michigan as being cold and unappealing (images on Detroit on TV shows perhaps). It sounds wonderful.

Ann Arbor, Michigan (MI), where I lived before moving to another state. It's a vibrant and multicultural city, with a very large student population.
It sounds lovely, I have read about it in books.
