As an attorney, I must say, this is one of the best case presentations I have ever seen.
Well, it’s not like it’s a difficult case to make. Netanyahu and his military are piling up war crimes, forced displacements, apartheid, genocide all over Palestine.
I can do better.
I'm not a lawyer & yet I'm surprised how perfectly this case was presented. Especially how they refrained from their strongest points that is graphic images and audio-visual content. As the prior does seem like a cheap method to deliver a blow to the jury instead of expressing the graveness of situation. Also can be subjected to cross-examination which Israel is very commonly known to do. They subject and dissect literally every piece of evidence provided against them regarding the Gazans with their conspiracies. On top of that all the propaganda too explains that is Israel's strong & final point. "Yes what we did to gaza is horrible but look at what they're doing. Look at these images. My graphic images are worse than yours" also how not relying on the audio-visual content is great point. Also all videos are strictly of the IDF. So no need for verification or tampering of the evidence. It's straightforward and explicit.
On top of that, they combined how the humanitarian situations of multiple cases of alleged genocides in the past from different parties were labelled as genocides & acted on even in circumstances that have been 100 times worse or shorter or smaller than gaza. Like the whole qatar case with 150 students. Or those with Bosnia.
Also the horrific & logical explanations were on point regarding the effects of the destruction urgent medical facilities. Like children being amputated without anesthesia or mothers undergoing caesarean without anesthesia. My parents themselves are gyneacologists. And I'm a future doctor to be. I have dissected the entire human body mutliple times. And seen endless operations. I can say that I have more tolerance to gore in any setting than 95-97% of PPL i know. Even more than 60-70% people in my field of my age. And even I was utterly horrified at this point. I felt horrified as an Indian reading about the famine in Bengal by the Brits in ww2 & the jalianwala bagh massacre in 1919 where men - women - children - elderly had gathered together for a peaceful protest in a garden with closed walls. And there the panicking British commander ordered to open fire & wipe off them all. 379 were killed. 1200 were injured. Within an hour or more. The situation was extremely grave and the medical facilities simply couldn't catch up. In response, one leader - sardar uddham. Travelled other countries for years & finally got his strength to get to uk. And assassinate the brother of the man who commited this atrocity. Surely, you can perhaps say it's terrorism. And maybe to some extent Indian radical freedom fighters had commited some forms of terrorism but it is essential. Not justifying Hamas tho, they are extremely terrible.
This point alone seals the case for Israel. That there is no coming back from this.
But again, them saying absolutely nothing about Hamas is a major advantage that israel has. Hamas could have let people stay in tunnels. Hamas did disrupt the food supply. Even more so had aggravated the state of occupation & the onslaught in gaza. Also ramped up the civilian deaths. And definitely some evidence of the crimes would be intentionally placed to aggravate the masses through media & un officials. The entire narrative of Hamas brainwashing the entire Palestinian population. Them Using kids as risk factors for the soldiers. And what not points they can and will make.
But nothing can be said about Israel's testimony until it gets said in detail and examined.
I might actually not be able to sleep tonight. There's a lot to think about. So many lives at stake on all sides. There's a lot of unpredictability.

They have given very strong arguments why this must be defined as genocide and have cited a lot of precedents to support their case.
