She really is absolutely brilliant. The conviction that she demonstrates on what would be just silly wasted movements from other people that she makes completely plausible is a true talent. Nobody better in ASMR...
The dedication to these videos is always so impressive. Regardless of how silly or purposeless the actions or props, she's always so serious, deliberate and "professional" about them. I've seen her use plastic toy scissors or even a ceramic drawer knob during some task but she never breaks character or acts embarrassed. Doing so would be a distraction that would detract from the enjoyment in my opinion. Nice work. Keep it up!
The only artists that understand ASMR is about the focus on the natural action. A stimulus response from the real world. All the whispering, talking, mumbling channels don't intuitively understand what triggers the response. It is the immersion. And the combination of his peaceful acceptence of everything with her intense focus just adds to the experience.
Well, this is true but for people like you. ASMR has so many different types of people who feel different sensations from different stimuli. You can try to be a philosophical as you want, but it's just not completely true because that's not the point of ASMR. The point is to get a triggered response out someone that which gives them pleasure and relaxation. Therefore, just because YOU and other's, like myself, favor this and a bit of soft-spoken stuff (not whispering), that's just us 🤣. But it's not the true meaning of ASMR.

If you talk about "triggers for getting an asmr response," then yes, that surely varies greatly from person to person, and the OP is clearly wrong. But recreating the first experience(s) of asmr of when you were a kid and went to the doctor and they would do checks on you, or when your parents checked you for tics, or when an older sibling brushed your hair and made a braid, etc...that's on a completely different level. I think what the OP is trying to say is that **that** kind of experience is what asmr videos should aspire to, and not to make trigger sounds in a vacuum that - although they succeed in giving tingles - just end up feeling robotic after a while. It's like...there's the "superficial tingle" and the "meaningful tingle," you know? If you're in the mood for just something light, then listening to an hour of someone going through different possible tingling sounds with their high-quality microphone works great. But if you want to enjoy something more meaningful, you'd not be able to withstand more than a few minutes of that, but would instead want something where someone gives attention to something or someone else. Personally, it's not just the tingling, I might actually tingle and twitch more sometimes from the pure "trigger videos," but there's the time in-between the tingles that I really enjoy as well. There's like... "pre-tingle" sensations as well, you know? And just that nice relaxing feeling of calmness and trust...anyway, I digress! But yeah, the way the OP said it, I completely agree with the others in this thread. But if I'm allowed to bend the OP's words a bit, there's something there that I can agree with as well.

One of the reasons I love this channel so much is because even though the things they do are random they just make sense. I like ASMR noises with a purpose, not just random tapping or whispering. I hate mouth noises and the forced whispering some do. This couple is ASMR gold!

Die Geräusche klingen nicht so klar und ein bisschen "hohl", vor allem die leisen Geräusche. Und von dem Grundrauschen ist andererseits auch nichts mehr zu hören. Das ist glaub ich ungefähr seit eurem letzten "Face Surgeon"-Video so, oder dem Spraybottles-Video

well said. i think you’re right. for me, this channel is almost “unintentional” asmr (which typically gives me the best tingles).
Please add librarian to your list the whole nine yards, stamping, writing due dates, checking books for damage, checking out a customer, etc
