    Placenta Acretia is scary. Think what you want about KK, but this would have been really scary and hard. One of my best friends was in icu and ended up needing an emergency hysterectomy a few days after delivering her son. It was a deeply traumatic experience.

    • @stupidkitty84
      @stupidkitty84 4 года назад +15

      Same. I had placenta increta (vs accreta) and its worse because the placenta roots itself deeper into the uterus so I had an emergency hysterectomy during my last c-section. I hemorrhaged pretty bad and they said my placenta just would not let go of my uterus and bled anytime they tried prying at it. I've been period free for 9 years now and never look back (no, seriously, it's awesome). Kim should've had a hysterectomy once she knew she'd be using surrogates.

    • @Jessicace
      @Jessicace 4 года назад +7

      @@stupidkitty84 I'm sorry that happened to you. That sounds like it would have been so full on at the time. I'm glad for you that you have been able to move forward. That being said I think it's up to Kim and her care provider as to what she decides to do with her body. I don't think it's a competition about what is worse, that can feel quite invalidating when someone shares their story.
      With AC, my friend had a csection also and bled out, but they packed her uterus after the surgery. she went to icu, bub to nicu. The next day she bled out again and she was rushed to theatre and had to sign a consent that hysterectomy may be necessary. Unfortunately it was. She spent a long time in hospital, milk never came in because of the blood loss. She wanted to have more children but now that is not possible. Still she is so grateful for her son. Birth trauma is life changing. I'm really glad KK is talking about it but I wish it was received with less judgement.

    I also had Preeclampsia , had my daughter a month early, she weighed 4 pounds 6oz. We were both in the hospital for almost a month in intensive care unit which is (I.C.U ) . I was so devastated that I had to give birth that early. And other complications come with early birth is not fully developed lungs, jaundice, feeding tubes. I pray for any mom going through that.

      It's cos:
      1. She completely altered her body.
      She had everything done.
      Botox(tbh that's not big of a deal) cheek fillers,face lifts,lip and buttock injections,fat transfer and removal and breast augmentation. LITERALLY EVERYTHING PHYSICALLY NATURAL about Kimberly "Kim" Noel Kardashian is GONE!
      2. She can be a real annoying/rude bitch to other celebrities and her sisters on KUWTK.
      3.Her husband's Kanye West,a rapper most people dislike,even other celebrities.
      4. Her voice and speech manner😁
      I know it's weird,but it's true.
      People don't like how she speaks.
      That's why they hate her.
      Tbh I wouldn't say I hate her.
      She is human,and she is flawed just the rest of her kind.
      Sometimes a lot of stuff happens, and they r out of your control...

    My sister almost died during childbirth with that same condition Kim talks about (where the placenta grew and adhered to in side of her uterus) and she almost hemorrhaged/bled out when she was in a regular birthing suite but had to be rushed to surgery for an emergency hysterectomy at the age of 25 in order to save her life. The doctor said due to this condition, even if they had been able to save her without having the hysterectomy, he said no doctor with any ethical fortitude would not suggest her ever getting pregnant or try to carry a child ever again. It was very scary and traumatic. This is why I would never take the chance having a home birth because there’s so many scary possibilities that can threaten the mother or the child’s life OR BOTH that there’s no way of predicting. Like if there was an emergency with the mother or the baby, there’s a chance you would not make it to the hospital in time to save them versus already being there where just about every possibility can be taken care of. My sister and her husband discussed trying a home birth with a certified mid-wife, but I’m so glad they changed birthing plans because she would not have survived.

    You do not die from pre-eclampsia. I had it with my first child. Pre-eclampsia can cause a host of symptoms during pregnancy. In addition to causing extreme swelling, pre-eclampsia can cause vision changes (you might see "floaters" or flashes of light), abdominal pain and tenderness, severe headaches, general malaise, and nausea and vomiting

      Joyce Adams Unfortunately, you can die from preeclampsia. Your blood pressure can rise so high it can put you at risk for a brain injury. Your organs can also start to fail. I wish you were right about it not being able to kill you, but it is a very serious condition.

    From what I know Pre-eclampsia is high blood pressure. And toxemia is blood posing from bacteria or something toxic to the blood. The result for toxemia can cause organ failure, but pre eclampsia doesn’t cause that and it’s treatable. But both of these conditions with put you in a high risk pregnancy.

    • @gigga143

    Had to click on this... Similar situation with pre-eclampsia, My blood pressure went to 190, had a seizure,nurses were running around, my poor husband was told I needed to have a c-section like Now, on top of that he had to sign a form saying he understood the situation but basically saying he wanted me at all costs if it came down to it. He still feels bad about it. Nick our son was 33 weeks and just under 3 pounds and in nicu for 4 1/2 weeks. I went back two weeks later because I had a stroke- I was just 28 years old, recovered from that but have been on blood thinners ever since. 51 now and do not take life for granted, Our son is 23 and 6’4” and healthy.
