Great video, straight into it and not a load of talking at the start, some of them talk for 10 minutes before anything is shown
Thanks mate, I'm glad you like my content, thanks for watching
You are so caring about your quality of work.
Thanks mate, that really means a lot, I appreciate the support 👍
Great stuff Tommy boy.
Thanks for the support as always mate 👍
Great vid again Tom. Honest plumbing and you have a great variety of work, great to watch mate.
Thanks Peter, I'm really pleased you enjoy my content, thanks for watching
I like the end feeds tradional method keep it up! Great video tom
Thanks Darren, it's my preferred choice although press fit is possibly the future, thanks for watching mate 👍
@@PlumbLikeTom anyone can press fit but it's experience and skill to be able to solder.
Great video Tom! Love your videos! Super neat job! 👀
Thanks for the supporg mate, it is really appreciated 👍
Brilliant again Tom, appreciate your time & effort 👍🏻
Thanks for watching Shaun, have a great evening
Enjoyable content Tom 😎 A lot to get done but you done it 👍 Them bricks are typical of an old out building, crumbling away - awful to core drill sometimes if they are damp and awful trying to find a decent spot for fixings sometimes too! Have a good week mate 👍
I think I got lucky on this one with my fixings, the bricks seemed ok in most places but you always seem to get the odd where its hollow, the boiler itself was really secure, probably better than some I've seen that are hung on dot and dab and light weight blocks, thanks for the support as always mate 👍
Good video Tom. It was a tough one but you ģot there.
Thanks for the support as always Brian, it is really appreciated
Nice job Tom, nice to see that job done, take care 👍🚽
Thanks Peter, it was a nice job to get sorted, I just need to weld up a lead cap for the old slate, thanks for the support as always mate 👍
Great film Tom, that installation looks complicated, plenty of pipe work going in.
I love to see copper and soldering, better than all that plastic, although I know plastic sometimes has a place.
Great job a pleasure to watch, thank you, take care Tom. 👍👍👍
Thanks as always Chris
Loving the left handed threads on the pump valves
😂
For some reason the phone flips the image on selfie mode so everything is backwards, thanks for watching as always Danny
Nice one mate 😊 good little job ...
Thanks for the support as always Jock
Nice job Tom , I used to do boiler installs all the time, now I am just commercial service and break downs, most people I know are doing press now I would say its the way forward . We cant even use solder on our sites its all got to be press, screwed or compression due to fire risk
I've got my big press gun for commercial job but I only have a 110v rems machine for domestic, if I'm honest its now too old so will look to upgrade to a lighter battery machine, thanks for the support mate
Good video mate. We've had a lot of Black paneled worcesters scratched up. The replacement ones they send are also scratched 😂. Keep up the good videos, you seem very knowledgeable 👍👍
Thanks mate, a couple of years ago I fitted one of these on a job and the panel got damaged, me being honest said it came OK but has been damaged, supplier charged me just short of 450 for a new front, I couldn't quite believe it but they said that was cost from Worcester, it would have been nearly as cheap to buy a new boiler, you have a great channel by the way, keep up the great work mate
@@PlumbLikeTom wow.... That is a hard pill to swallow. I will remember that next time I drop one. 😂. Thanks Tom appreciate it.👍
@@PlumbLikeTom you should of contacted Worcester and said that they’d of more than likely sent you one for free. They’re very good at retaining customers
@@plumbertime Your probably right mate, they still owe my 20 pounds for a bouquet of flowers that I sent to a customer after a boiler I fitted didn't work out the box, the rep said he'd sort it but 6 months later I'm still waiting, thanks for watching mate 👍
Great install as usual
Thanks mate, I appreciate the support as always 👍
I like the gas tape for commercial installations
Nice job Tom.... 👍
A tip for you....
If you want to get rid of that annoying Makita charger tune , it's got 4 plus silent....
Put your battery on the charger and then remove it whithin 1 sec , it will go to the next one then do the same again until you get one you like , I prefare silent , I am sure you said on one of your vids how annoying the tune is.....
Cheers....👍
The only good thing with the noise is it let's you know when to change the battery, ofton if ive been jobbing they don't get charged so I end up with 6 flat batteries, thanks for the tip though, have a great evening mate 👍
Nice work Tom. That was a lot to do in one day. Those auto air vents in the Worcesters tend to leak, so I think a manual vent is better, if less convenient.
That can be the problem with auto air vents, Worcester should put a piece of tube on the manual vent like on the RI boilers to divert the water out of the case, thanks for watching mate 👍
Good vid bro! Hope all is well with you bro!
Thanks Brad, I'm all good, hope your keeping well mate
You should get some marksman spray for marking you holes for the clips they’re so handy to keep in the bag for jobs like that.
They do look really useful, I'll see if I can get one, thanks for watching mate
Great video as always . Constantly learning 👍🏻
Excellent. Love this channel. Onwards and upwards Tom. Hit that like button and subscribe, it has to be done.
Thanks for the support as always mate 👍
@@PlumbLikeTom thank you
Get yourself a beer Tom lad well done 👍
Thanks mate, I think I've still got some left over from last Christmas, I don't drink a lot to be fair but sometimes I feel like I should, thanks for the support 👍
How many years have you got as a plumber and why did you get into plumbing trade and how did you get an apprenticeship? This woukd be nice yo know from your next video tom.
No worries mate, I can certainly spend a couple of minutes talking about my career mate, thanks for the support
@@PlumbLikeTom thank you Tom for finding the time especially at work and your time editing the videos. We all appreciate it
👍👍👍 Teacher 🍺🍺🍺
Thanks for the support as always Paul
Hi Tom don’t know how you ain’t got more subscribers ? Come on guys help him out 👍🏼 subscribe. As a fellow plumbing and heating engineer I’ve met a lot also and they don’t know what you know. Keep it up Tom
Thanks mate, I really enjoy making content and I'm sure subscribers will come with with time, I really appreciate the support of everybody who watches the videos and those that choose to subscribe. Hopefully I'll be making videos for many years to come
Are the flat jaw grips worth the money i have been looking at them for a while but cant decide if they are worth it and great video.
There really good for chrome valves and taps, they tend not to leave any scratches, its worth investing in some just for that really, thanks for watching mate
Very neat job. I may be overthinking it but would that bypass work the way it is, shouldnt it be on the negative side of the pump ?
Its a good spot, I realised this when I was doing my commissioning and set up, I don't know if the video shows it but before the zone valve in the flat there was another auto by pass fitted on the system so I decided to close the one in the boiler room down and use the one in the flat to allow for the pump overrun to clear the heat from the boiler, thanks for watching
Good to know youve sorted it, take care bud
Is this because the bypass should be before the motorised valves?
Nice job Tom, did you consider plying out the wall prior to hanging the boiler?
I did consided plying it however the wall was solid and level enough without to be honest and the fixings were all solid. I honestly don't think it would have looked any neater with a ply backboard, thanks for the support as always mate 👍
What model recep saw do you use thanks
Hi mate, I don't know the model but it's a Makita 18v tool, it's one of the very first ones as it only takes the 3amp batteries, I've had it 14 years and it's still as good as new
@@PlumbLikeTom great thanks, keep the videos coming great to watch and learn so much, keep safe
