Love these ! Thank you so much! I find it sad, how critical listeners can be. It takes time and talent to do this. This quick to criticize, should give it a try. I’m grateful for the entertainment.🇺🇸
There are many well trained perfect English speaking actresses who would narrate this story as it should be. They have the natural talent and have put in the effort in their training. One does not admire pointless effort and the waste of time. This is an apalling narrator.
So sad that,so many marriages of this and earlier & later eras didn't know that it was the male who provides the gender. So many wives abandoned and replaced as women were thought to be ' the problem '.So much grief and heartache caused because of lack of scientific knowledge that was to come eventually
I`m very happy that this unspeakable Alan drowned in the Pacific Ocean Im only sorry for the Ship and the other human. Thank you for reading this wonderful Voice and for uploading it. the series is really enjoyable. I think there was also a Story about a bespectacled Wallflower who made a man of the Tone mad for her.
The amount of commercials makes this completely pointless to try to listen to. Every time I start to get involved in the story a commercial starts 10 octaves higher and startles me
I've listened to this whole series, at least 4 times. Maureen Cavanaugh is the very best narrator. I've listened to a few other audiobooks...and the narration was SO awful, I had to stop. And, I believe they were written by Julia Quinn or Mary Jo Putney, both popular writers, so you'd THINK they would have at least a decent narrator. I can't remember which one...but I couldn't tell the difference between the men from the women. And, the handsome, charming, tall, muscular, lead man...sounded like a high pitched frog. I hope Ms. Cavanaugh gets paid well. :)
I tried listening to a Julia Quinn novel, The made up Husband or something like that, I only listened to 2 chapters. I had to quit. I was so distracted by trying to figure out if the the voices were actually a man or a woman speaking I couldn't focus on the story... I've discovered this series2 nights ago and am already on book 3... The narration truly makes a difference and I love this one. I'm a huge fan of Maureen Cavanaugh after listening to her here I hope she keeps her around!
I have listened to your other audiobooks read by this narrator because the story line was good. BUT NO MORE!! I cannot stand the woman’s voice quality/accent. Totally ruins the enjoyment. Sorry Megan Bryce.
"Cawfing" and then a sentence later "cough". The accent, pronounciation and narration is awful. "Tone" instead of "tonn" - this sounded like someone trying to sound posh and instead sounding ridiculous. Even the Queen doesn't speak like this.
The complete series is now available on RUclips. ruclips.net/video/lu28q3Ca6YQ/видео.html
Just found these, love them, thanks
As Shakespeare said...the play is the thing...indeed I am so entertained and very grateful for your pen or computer😂

Just finished listening, and it was perfect ! My thanks to the author, reader and everyone else involved. This book is truly a thing of beauty
Best yet, thank you for such great stories

Very well narrated.... loved it💐
I have to disagree, it is completely unnatural, not a natural English speaker so forced and strangled.
I agree. The smugness in the narrator's reading is annoying and not how we speak naturally. @@sandrapicton6349
Thank you so very much for your efforts! I really appreciate you sharing this very enjoyable novel with us via YT!

Finished listening to one and two of this series. Great books.
A circle of life is 💕 Love and 💕 Love is life. With the only sacrifice is giving it all. Valuable lesson......
I'm only on Ch#5 & can see this as a mini series!
DAMN! I cried throughout Chapter 14. I believe this maybe PBS miniseries worthy. 👍
Thank you so much! I hope there will be more! I would love to read the story of the twin
I loved that book...laughed and cried.
I really love this series it’s wonderful that people in it fight themselves and then realize their true feelings.
I loved this book. Great plot and narrator too. No pages of detailed sex scenes!
Thank you so much.
I love this and it’s just cheeky enough
Liked the series
I cried and I cried then I cried for such a happy ending.
Me too
Nice story...wonderfully narrated.
Vielen Dank, großartiges Buch und großartig gelesen
This needs a sequel...I want to know what happens in India, the twins, the Earls' family, and Lady Camilla.
Yes, I agree. I've started Camilla's story after she grows up and I'm hoping to finish it, y'know, someday.

I think this book would be a great off-broadway play too.🥰

It's been a year Ms. Bryce. 😊
You MUST be on the last chapter of Camilla's book by now! 😉

$13.99 a month and never an AD again on any RUclips videos! Definitely worth it 😊

"It was guuud" " fuuud would never taste again" nails on a chalkboard 😪😪😪😪😪
Accents giving you a hard time?
@@danni1993 that can not be called an accent, nobody on earth speaks like that let alone someone from Britain.😂

This narrator is good but she makes all the men sound like little old women.
