I am absolutely loving this series. David Tennant is magnificent! I’m so impressed with his acting in this show, such a far cry from Broadchurch. My previous lasting impression of his work. Love it!
Character development, character development, character development. What more does one need? Loooooooooving this adaptation. We viewers will certainly be needing "further adventures of Phileas Fogg"... played (of course) by none other than David Tennant. #nopressure #fellowScot
I was curious to watch other adaptations of this tale after seeing this! But, after seeing trailers for the other adaptations, I know I would be disappointed. They absolutely did an amazing job with this one, and clearly set a bar that would be difficult to surpass!
Near the end of the final episode, the three main characters have a conversation about a giant submarine that is attacking ships. This is a reference to the plot of another Jules Verne story, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
Such a great little nod to Jules Verne, an Easter Egg that I also caught. I hope PBS hires the creators of this series to do an adaptation of 20,000 leagues!
Update: A 20,000 Leagues adaptation will not be made by this team for PBS, as Disney is currently producing a high budget re-telling of the story, according to an interview with the director.
The writing, casting, acting and cinematography are all stellar! Any who don't watch, are missing out!
Absolutely agree!
Absolute woke feminist dreck at its lowest common denominator. Anyone - don't watch, you won't miss a thing!

And he is amazing in Broadchurch. That’s one of his best roles so that’s saying a lot!
@@sabrinafederhofer1134 Yessssss, exactly! 💫

@Nestor And likely woke.
Love this show
The show was so fun !
Will we ever find out who sent the “coward” postcard?
Wasn't it obvious
They have hinted at it, but haven’t revealed for certain.
You'll find out at the end if you haven't seen it
Even my husband is enjoying this series and hes usually not into British period shows🙂
This series was exceptional!
That David Tennant (The Current Voice Of TV's Twigs From Tree Fu Tom) Shore Is Something.
so stunning and brave that they made the black man the villain, i did not expect that twist in a modern show.
The Three Stooges "Around the World in a Daze" is the best adaptation of this story, IMO.
Will that show have Aouda?
Awesome show
Where can I watch it???
As a indian studing in 12 HSC we know everything about fogs
How do you watch this in India?
