The themes that are less vulnerable to price increases are often those that are not licensed; I am looking at you Disney. The first that come to mind is the Space theme.

I have seen so many people worried about selling in July. When I feel like they should be acquiring or purchasing. So many local sellers have lowered prices in an effort to move inventory and I get the liquidity and cash aspect, but they means they need to be better planners. Money is tight everywhere right now, but when you effectively project 6-12 months out and remove impulse spending, you make much better moves.
I couldn’t agree more regarding people doing 0 effort and expecting a return on a dud of a set or theme. People underestimate how important research is and make too many emotional picks for investing. Hold on for a few more months, selling season is coming up.
Thanks, as always, for the video!

Hi Jim Off brand lego are there to fill a need the people that buy those cant justify paying 1500 AUD for 42056 but will get it for 100 AUD for a off brand. I dont think you can say they hurt resellers because they would not have got it for the high cost. I could of saved some money if i got some 2nd hand or even knock off but i just got bnib lego becouse thats what I wanted. If someone wants to collect lego they will if not they wont. Anyway keep up the good vids

I got lepin on ebay even though it was advertised as lego. I got my money back and i was told i could keep the product. I then relisted it on ebay as lego compatible and i was reported..this is what ebay said:We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our VeRO Unauthorized Item Policy. Unauthorized copies or counterfeits are illegal and not allowed on eBay

Don't like the concept of buying virtual shares of art, encouraging shady nonprofit transactions or counterfeit or counterfeit adjacent lego companies !!!

Can't stand fake lego. They don't affect you because I assume you just sell sets. Fakes have really hurt the minifigure market but selling and collecting. Fakes are getting much better.

I can see how Lego copies can meet a need for those who want cheaper sets or maybe builds which Lego don’t do. However the sets that just rip off current Lego sets are a bit lame. And you’re right about minifigs. I bought a SW ‘5th brother’ minifig, it was advertised as new and genuine Lego.
When it arrived it was great quality tbf, but it was also not legit. The guy refunded me and told me to keep it. However I see the guy has now since sold 100’s of them!
So there’s loads of fake minifigs around unfortunately.

I've slowed down the size of my inventory. Too many resellers because of RUclipsrs TBH. People think there gonna get rich with Lego Investing :O
Dividend stocks are my thing this year. Not exciting but having that monthly paiement is fun.
    Quality over quantity, 100% !!!!
    Thanks Jim !
