I never (since many years) throw these plastic bags... I use them as scrubber for washing utensils... Actually these work very nicely... Try them... Good for ENVIRONMENT TOO...
Yo las guardo para cuando tenga muchas,planchar las de tal manera que pueda hacer una bolsa para ir a comprar a mi gusto.Entre los trozos de bolsas de colores,por fuera hay que poner papel de horno.Hasta las bolsas de patatas grandes guardo.Le aplaudo a usted por lo que hace.

Eu cuido para não danificar quando abro e depois devolvo ao agricultor da feira onde comprei para ele usar novamente para embalar alimentos. Quando estão danificadas são ótimas para limpeza!

This is a fantastic idea and the bow is lovely. This is a great way to teach children about recycling 🤩 Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Yes! They understand & want to help, too when it's explained to them! Whilst my daughter is now a career woman & THINKS she has no time to do the things that she grew up learning, 4 of her 6 children are eager to help.(The 16mo is too young, of course, & the 13yo boy is...well, a 13yo boy!😂)
When Nana goes to visit, there is always a stack of washed, cut, & flattened wax paper from cereal, the cereal boxes cut into 2 big pieces & 2 long panels, a bag of broken & tiny crayons, a bag of toilet tissue & paper towel rolls, & 2 piles of paper- newsprint & anything that isn't glossy (including the massive amount of drawings & coloring book pages they've done)
They definitely understand that they are helping the environment (& Nana's wallet!), but they also get to enjoy doing activities with Nana or receiving a surprise back from the 'trash' that their mama would've tossed!
Grating crayons between 2 pieces of the wax paper & then ironing it makes a lovely sun catcher or addition to another art project. Flowers can also be pressed/dried between the wax paper & used the same way! (They love foraging & gardening with me!) The long cardboard pieces have been made into everything from bookmarks to bracelets made from connecting the ends, applying newsprint/flour/water paper mache & embellishing! (
The rolls have so many uses! We fold the end in & plant the entire biodegradable pot, tape them together along w/other 'trash' like lids, caps, plastic food containers & then paper mache & decorate their creations. They've made so many wonderful things, like 'binoculars', pinatas,(extended fun!), school projects, a 4 foot tall nutcracker that was a gift from them all to their mama who collects them! When they come to Nana's, I cut some in 1/2, leave others whole & tape them to the wall at different angles & heights for them to race their little cars or marbles through! My daughter does not want tape on her walls, but my walls will need repainted at some point anyway, & I'll never have another chance to see my grands go through the wonder stage again.😉
Their discarded drawings,along with the other non glossy paper, are turned into handmade paper that we make into cards.We also use it to make paper mache modeling pulp. (It makes both the children & me happy that their drawings aren't just thrown away!) They love the process because it's messy, but also because we include flowers that we've either grown together or have foraged and then dried. But what truly makes them happy is saying that they really made every part of the card or little gift (Bowls, animals etc from the pulp) that the give to special people! I love that they're also learning that a gift can be handmade & inexpensive.🥰
Reduce, reuse, and recycle not only helps the environment & in saving money, but by doing it my way, it also creates wonderful family fun & togetherness! They don't even realize that they're learning so many lessons while we are thinking, working, & laughing together! I hope that when they're older, they'll have many good memories of our shenanigans & share what they learned with their own! The toddler is always included no matter how messy she ends up, & the 13 yo does do many of the projects with us(Just don't ask him to tell his friends that we use toilet tissue rolls to grow food! 😱😂)
