It actually says rororo but there is no "L" sound in Japanese so google translate just flips a coin and tells you whichever letter ot feels like telling you. Same same but different
One of the few times I was taking a sip of a drink (cold coffee) and it didn't make me laugh immediately so I thought i was safe until I literally choke laughed back into the coffee back into the cup because that was just so silly 😭😂
Also fun fact (i guess): entrance in Japanese is iriguchi (入口) which it literally enter - hairu (入る) and mouth - guchi (口). So like the mouth that you enter. And same with exit, deguchi (出口). 出れる- dereru - exiting + mouth - guchi (口). The mouth that you exit. Hope the new Japanese learners find it helpful.
I love the characters they have for their bits though. Great chemistry. I guess this is kinda reminiscent of manzai comedy as the guy with the laid back, "japanese cool" hip hop inspired outfit has the goofball friend role, whereas the host in the uniform plays the typically stoic down to earth japanese guy, but also fluently english and cynical. Japanese people really seem to like this kind of dynamic and it's no wonder, it's hilarious.

Bigger and smaller letters is really strange to see in the middle of the word. Plus if you just writing badly this is gonna be really hard to missunderstand. And if your eyes is not really good you can also misunderstand what is actually written. Those who created japanese writing system didn't know what the hell they were doing. Seriously it so hard to handwrite it. Probably really probalematic for kids to understand all of the syllables and how to write them. I tried to learn it my self, and it feelt like a language for spyes. I can't even type things on smartphone straight in japanese. I have to use english letters which then converted into japanese words. Japanese is maybe ok for speaking and music, but writing system is really bad. It feel so much better when all japanese syllables swithed to english lettters. So easy to read and write that text. In all japanese i think i like only letter N because this letter is actually a single letter with single sound just like any other letters in english or russian for example. I hope this autotranslator will do it's trick, because i don't know japanese so well as english or russian.

In portuguese, we have an onomatopoeia with the same pronunciation as "kuchi kuchi" but for really cute things. You see a cute baby with a cheek-to-cheek smile and go "Ohhhhhh, cuti cuti" (kuchi kuchi)
We say it in English too, cool to know that it’s in Spanish as well! I love how the way we talk to babies is one of the most universally similar parts of language
I get so stoked whenever the slightest chance of "same but different" could possibly be uttered in any of these videos. It's like when Steve Urkel would say his "did I do that?" catchphrase, or when a character in a movie says the movie's name as a line of dialog.
What's wild to me is that the Japanese language has a vast number of characters/symbols and they *still* have so many instances of characters being used for multiple words lol
