Matt we are purchasing the Square Register system with cash drawer-bt we also require an extra card reader on our bar due to heavier traffic, the question is can this be added in and synced to the register-Please advise
We just got our POS system today my one question is if you want to take the power cord out of the POS system to store it in the Box for safekeeping we travel to different events we need to be able to pack the system away from time to time how do you pull the cord out without breaking it mine seems to be kind of stuck it doesn't seem to be designed very well to be able to take the cord in and out easily
I don't think the Square Registers are really intended to be mobile units. That's what the Square Terminal or Square Reader with a paired mobile device are designed for and can both run off battery power where the Square Register does not have a battery. That said, I assume it's the USB plug from the hub to the register that you are having trouble with. It's an awkward angle being an L plug that is recessed into the base, but it is still just a USB plug so it should just pop out, there is nothing extra to lock it in. I don't havy any trouble connecting and disconnecting mine.
@@matt-talks-tech the Square Register works great at our mobile events we use just the main screen customer screen and barcode scanner we don't use anything else like the receipt printer we've taken it to seven events we've never had any issues it's fast convenient our customers seem to like the experience of the customer screen
