Yveltal... the bringer of death. The Pokemon that absorbs life energy when its lives comes to an end and turns into a cocoon to go to sleep. When it spreads its wings wide, it looks just like the letter Y.

the cinematic of yveltal is a little more epic than that of xerneas is that it fits more yveltal in that cinematic than xerneas xD

Yveltal is demon pokemon
maybe in ancient times it was dragon-demon or somethink like that.
but after it ended it's live and destroyed all living creatures, it fell asleep and in it's cocooon changed into a bird-demon when Xerneas died too and shares it's life force with all died creatures in the world.
Xerneas's power changed Yveltal into bird-demon

Eh, it's the pokemon world. So basically legendary pokemon were like the dinosaurs of that world.

@@esteban8471 not really, yveltal likes to destroy and cause destruction because that's why he exists, absol and darkrai are different because one has a sense of premonitions and goes to the place to warn people but is always seen as the cause of them and darkrai acts as self-defense with his power of infinite nightmares but not because he really wants to put nightmares on others
@@luisfillipebeserra2108 The argument of "Yveltal likes the death it causes because that's why it exists" doesn't really work because by that logic Darkrai would like giving others nightmares. Yveltal has no control over the fact that it causes death and destruction whenever it goes into it's cocoon, although we admittedly have no confirmation on whether it enjoys it or not.

Yveltal is so fricken' OP - or at least it has the potential to be, I guess. Depends on how you use it.
Its signature move, Oblivion Wing, will sweep just about any Pokémon hit with it. 1-2 hits, and they're down. Plus it restores the user's health, which is extra insulting if you're battling online or against a friend.
But I like Yveltal a lot, so that doesn't really matter to me.
same here. Yveltal is my most fav legendary pokemon because of everything. it's design, concept. role, and its types. I EV training my yveltal SP ATT, and Speed. what about u?

I absolutely love Yveltal. If I were Champion, he would definitely be my Ace and a crucial member in my team. Oh, and I had the nickname setted up, and it’s “Black Knight”.

AZ’s story almost made me cry as a 6 year old
Pokemon y still makes me cry and is still my favorite pokemon game ever.
I bought X and looking back that was such a mistake Yveltal is straight up one of the most bad ass legendaries. Period.
Now it’s my favourite (Legendary) Dark Type Pokémon’s turn, and once again it’s debut game Y is my favourite of these clip 😍😍😍

I love the lore of these games, but Gen VI is incomplete. We only received half of the experience that was ment to be there, which leaves a sense of unsatisfaction or wanting to know/experience more.

Yveltal my favorite legendary in X/Y. Sure Xerneas got the advantage,but I still like Yveltal.

They should have made a natural home for each xerneas and yveltal. Battling and catching them in a laboratory just felt less special. still a good cutscene though
We would have that if only Game Freak had bothered to release Pokémon Z version which would have filled in Kalos' missing lore as well as the deal with nature energy in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire which has ties to life energy.
