Me personally I think the engine is more like a motorcycle engine then a go kart engine, but that’s my personal opinion and you can bump start it just like motorcycle too just in case if your battery dies
I had to bump start mine a few times before figuring out that the stock battery was to blame. I installed a lawn and garden battery and it’s worked great
I purchased mine off Amazon. It’s an xpro brand. They do sell another brand at Tractor Supply but it has gotten some bad reviews. There are several different brands and distributors. I haven’t had a single issue out of mine except the battery which I replaced with a lawnmower battery
@@josegarza3673 you can use a lithium battery if you find a 12 volt lithium small enough to fit somewhere in there. I don’t know how well the small stator on the motor is going to keep up with the charging demand of a lithium though. Customizing is what it’s all about.
@@josegarza3673 unfortunately no. I don’t get out to the farm much so I don’t use it very often. Except for the addition of the lights and fender flares I haven’t done anything to it. It spends a lot of time sitting in a garage at the farm. I will give you a tip. Get rid of the junk Chinese tires and get some good quad tires on it. The beads on the Chinese tires break all the time.
