I have a huge problem. I was having a lesson and I wanted to restart my laptop. When I restarted, I couldn't like open Google with 1 click, I needed 4 to 8 clicks. Then I checked the hdd fall protection and it wasn't working at all. Is there a solution to this problem without buying a new hdd?
My ssd stopped working after just 4 days. Via drivepartitation i got it shown up first but after the 4 days it stopped working even in bios the pc says that the sata slot was empty while in fact it had the asd plugged in

I installed the ssd properly and after a while it just disappeared with all the files I put on it, then after a complete shutdown and boot, it showed up like nothing happened and I want to know why?

Weird. If it shows in Device Manager it should show up in partition manager. In Disk Management you may need to scroll down to see it. When you assign a drive letter to it will show up.

I had my ssd installed for 3 months and I had a bunch of games downloaded on it. Then one day when I shut it down and logged back on all my games on that hardrive were gone and my computer cant detect my ssd despite me having it plugged in I have tried so many ways to try and get my computer to detect it but it wont.
I'm assuming you've tried different SATA ports and Sata power connectors. If you know for sure that those things are working fine then your SSD is probably dead. Sorry man... 😞 Just curious, which brand of SSD do you have?

That usually means that something plugged in to PC is not working. To me that means it's broken/bad.

i cannot see the ssd in the computer management ive uused this ssd for like 2 months, randomly after booting my pc it doesn't show up, i have to unplug and plug it back in and reconfigure it on steam to show my games. today i cant find it. im being told in my devices its plugged in but it need troubleshooting, ive tried this twiced and updated the driver still to no avail
oh man... that's not good. if it worked fine before but suddenly stopped... chances are that it died. you can try different SATA ports if you have desktop pc. Or try the same SSD in another computer to see if it works at all.
Mine was workign for 6 months and now it won't show up. SHows that i have it installed in device manager and in Bios, but wont work anymore.
That is unfortunate. It may be dead, but try using tools like partition magic to see if you can bring it back .

Can you connect it to another SATA connection on PC? Try that. Try looking in Disk Management like in this video.
it dosent even work on my gaming pc? Its a sata 2,5 sdd Kingston. It just see error and black screen when i start the pc. I just bought it today. And when i test with my other 2,5 sdd it works.

That's for the m.2 drives that run over pcie. If you have an m.2 drive you can install the adapter for it like in this video: ruclips.net/video/dBfGhFs2oRw/видео.html
What do i do if the new hard drive doesnt show up in disc management it doesnt even show that the drive is connected , i also tried this hard drive on a laptop and it doesnt recognize that its even plugged in, same result on both my desktop and laptop,
It sounds like it's a bad hard drive. You should get your money back.

I would check to see if it's connected properly inside the PC. Otherwise SSD is bad.
@@Cobuman hm i also think the ssd is currupted ,but its only 4 months from installation & its a m.2 ssd from the Gigabyte company
@@abinashnayak8132 Possibly, especially if it's been working before. I would check a couple of other places to see if it shows up... Check BIOS and see if the heatsink is still attached... those can get really hot when used.
When i do the initilize disk it gives me an “access denied” error. To top this off i cant give it a new simple volume
access denied usually means that the disk is encrypted. Formatting should fix it. This will delete everything on the disk.

I’m stuck on the first step of the video where it says “storage controllers” I don’t have “standard nvm express controllers or Microsoft vhd loopback controller”
My main issue is my Samsung 970 evo ssd won’t show up on the bios. I’ve tried removing and and reinstalled it, updating the bios, resetting the bios and it still doesn’t work. Pls help if you can, thank you. 🙏

It should be showing up in BIOS. Unless there is a problem with the m.2 slot or the drive itself. Until it shows up in BIOS I'm afraid that OS will not see anything either. Reach out to manufacturer of your computer or motherboard.

I put in my Samsung 860 Evo and when u turn on my pc it takes me to the reboot device do you yk how to fix it ?
Change boot order to location of OS. Or install OS on to 860 if used as main drive.

What kind of device? SSD, HDD m.2? :)
check cables, remove from device manager; then click on Scan for hardware changes to reinstall it.

@@masterkenobi3666 check the cable connections. I've seen that specific issue with those external storage media adapters used to plug in your memory cards... it would give that error when nothing is plugged in. I hope in your case SSD is working fine, but check cables (try different SATA ports) or on another computer to double check.

Try a different SSD connection. You should have more than one.
What to do if the drive doesnt show on Disk Management
Check the cables, try different SATA port. If possible test to see if drive shows up on another PC (just in case it's bad).
I installed my ssd and went to format it but it freezes and now it comes up as RAW in disk management
Check the connections just to be sure. Try connecting to another SATA port. If that does not work it could be faulty SSD. You can also double check if SSD is working okay by connecting to another PC.

That's the long way to get to device manager. Under update win 1903 just right click the start icon and look up the context menu to where it says device manager, disk management and the other usually buggery things to get to.
That's true, a lot of my viewers are new to computers so pointing to search box to find different windows options makes it easier to remember. Notice how I speak slower for the same reason.

@@Cobuman There will be no successor to Win10....just updates. What will evolve from Win10 is a subscription only OS. Microsoft is going to follow Adobe's business model because everyone want's to pay monthly for operating systems and apps....right?

Nothing shows on manager
My ssd is readable in device manager but its not working
It might just need to have allocation set. Go to Disk Management to set that up.

@@a.pgaming7538 You found the issue. It's the SSD that's not working or your computer does not support booting from m.2 drive. There might be a setting in BIOS that you might need to check.

If you can't make new volumes could mean that space is already allocated/used for another partition.
I put my external HDD as internal and it wasnt finding or actually reading when found

SSD may be disabled. Go back to Device Manager, right click to enable.
@@Cobuman thanks for replying It says working properly but when’s I went into system logs it says : NDS fails to write boot code on a disk during clean operation. Error code: 80070001 @02070008
@@raddaradda5458 yeah, it's not able to write to it because it seems to be not functioning. You can try to reinstall it and see if that helps but from the looks of it it's probably bad.

it should not have anything to do with PCI bus unless it's an m.2 drive... it's probably not connected.

@@lastthug1371 If you know that m.2 drive is functional and installed correctly you may need to update BIOS to resolve this issue.
