Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (RA) was given the title "Sword of Allah" (Saifullah) by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This title was bestowed upon him after he accepted Islam and joined the Muslim army.
Before accepting Islam, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed played a crucial role in the Battle of Uhud against the Muslims. However, after embracing Islam, he became an invaluable asset to the Muslim community due to his exceptional military strategies and bravery.
He was specifically given the title "Saifullah" after the Battle of Mu'tah. In this battle, the Muslim commanders Zaid bin Haritha, Ja'far bin Abi Talib, and Abdullah bin Rawaha were martyred. Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed took command and skillfully managed to lead the Muslim army to safety. After this, the Prophet (PBUH) said that Khalid bin Waleed was one of the "Swords of Allah."
