I have the noble it's been sitting in a box for a year I didn't RC as much as I thought I would Plus it seems too complicated because I don't use it that's the problem just like a cell phone I guess remember when you got your first touch screen cell phone and was like how does this work hmmm now it's like second nature. Anyways I've been trying to find the range This thing got to go at least a few miles if the dumbo RC can do a mile.
Man, thank you for this video! Huge help. I have the flysky nb4, I just put the smaller fg4rs in my gas 5t, my question is, do you think mounting the receiver inside the plastic receiver box would negatively affect its range? What do you think?
From what iv seen with mine in a buggy I owned I never had an issue but I can't make any guarantees normally with my gas stuff I like to run the external antennas
Just found this video! Thanks for the demonstration. I have ordered a Noble tx (comes with both types of rx’s) and I am planning on swapping out the cheap rx/esc combo in my Feilun 011 for the external antenna nb4 rx and a better esc. As you can imagine, good range in a boat is essential! I’m wondering if range would be effected positive, negative or not at all on water. I’m planning on extending the antenna straight up outside the boat deck inside a plastic tube to maybe get the best range.
Protect your receiver they may say waterproof but so does my cell phone and you know with anything it only means it could get wet not submerged. If you're going to be running it in a boat which I have never done but I would buy one of those water tight receiver compartments it's a little box of a few of them just to have their cheap. And if you're going to be on water I suggest you hook your transmitter to some type of strap that goes around your neck forget what it's called but if you happen to need both hands you can let it dangle without dropping in water. Also get you some Dielectric Grease to protect against humidity.
Thanks for putting this out. I want one of these radios now. I don't care how long it takes to get receivers. lol This radio is definitely worth the money to me.
Great vid , I run the same set up but have never bothered to test the range but I do know I can run my DBXL-E 2.0 to the point where I can only just see it and I still have full control . Great product well worth the money and waiting from Banggood 👍👌👍
What's up bro I have a quick question I recently ordered the flysky noble and wanted to know if you had to do an firmware update and nice video by the way 👍
@@amirnewson1905 thanks man I appreciate it I have the build videos slowly coming out from my live build for the tlr 8ight xt and doing some lives I would like to get some run videos up at some point if the weather permits lol
@@amirnewson1905 yeah as long as you have internet should be no problem check out my most recent update video on it the only thing I'm not sure of is what it's like on Apple computers because I use windows and when it's updating dont turn it off even if you think the remote has been sitting not doing anything while updating just let it be because you can brick the remote
Nice vid. Curious to see how the receiver with the ant does in the DBXL. I have a BAJA 5b with a OBR 34CC V2 Reed case motor in it . Do you have a kill switch in the DBXL? Wondering how well the radio will play with a kill switch like the killer bee. If it works with it I'd almost pull the Futaba out of the 5B. Right now I'm only planning on running my bigger boats with the Noble.
Which receiver do you need to make it 6 channel? I put in an order for this transmitter a few days ago. Now after watching your video I hope it ships quickly. I’m looking forward to installing it.
So iv done some more research i found a module you need to make it 8 channel from what I gather from reading you plug this into your 4 channel receiver and it adds the extra channels needed heres a link to it. This is the part number Fs-CEV04 m.banggood.com/Flysky-FS-CEV04-Serial-Bus-Receiver-For-iA6B-iA10-Receiver-p-976306.html?akmClientCountry=America&gmcCountry=US¤cy=USD&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&ad_id=395572890419
Making a 25 minutes video for a range test that ended being inconclusive, what would have taken to look at google maps and check the actual distance to where the car got, heck you you didn't even charge the batteries of the car, smh
I only had one set at the time (that I said in video they were old bad batteries thats why they died fast you obviously didnt listen)I also said in video I was gonna go again but kids came out of the school so I wasn't going to film while there were kids at the school grounds lol and I used a range finder that was pretty accurate so don't forget to smash that thumbs down
Way to be prepared for a rang test 👏 👏
Shit happens lol

ive bought RXs from Amazon, eBay and Hobby King. don't have to wait for overseas RXs.
I have too sometimes they arent here in the US so I end up waiting but iv lucked out recently finding them on Amazon in the US
I'm wondering if I can use this for speed runs? I think I need around 300 meters will it go that far?
I feel like it can bc it was doing great until my lipo died it was responding great and everything at 200+ yards with the external antenna
@@chefbeardsly Thanks for the reply mate 👍🏻 appreciate it 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@ksrnate i appreciate you clicking on my video man of course im gonna respond lol
HOLY MOLY THAT LOOKS STINKING FAR!!!!!!!!!!
250 yards ? Thats like 230 meters. Most RTR models can go 400 meters. Something is wrong with your setup
My lipo quit in the external antenna test so it can go farther the internal one is right
great video ,if your battery didnt die you would of made it
dont use old battery
yeah i know i need a new one for the mini revo
