You do realize that China can get all the gas it wants from Russia, at a lot cheaper. Gas is flared off in the Middle East. There have been numerous proposals to liquify and ship gas and all the investors have pulled out.

This has only been quantified recently but it makes a big difference and unfortunately offsets the difference when only a few % leak. 2. Even if we could do it, those gas plants on India's grid would be in service for far too long and would still be a climate disaster 3. Instead, Canada should leverage its nuclear expertise and help develop a low cost, standardized design nuclear reactor to use in Canada and worldwide.
