When do you use flat and top spin shot?

I flat shot most of the time. I only really top spin if the ball is low because if I flat shot it, it’ll hit the net

can you choose the length of your hits? I hope so because right now it looks very unrealistic with rallies neverending ...

Yes, you can choose the distance of your shots. My player level was low in this game so I didn't have the stats to end rallies early. Higher power leads to quicker points

How do you get perfect on meter just about every time? I can’t stand the meter it drives me crazy it goes to fast for me I can’t press buttons fast enough any tips?

Thanks! Do you try to press when the line is in the green? If so, it sounds like you’re trying to do control shots. I agree, those are tough which is why I barely do them. I usually do power shots. I hold the button and then let go when the line is in the green. I feel like it’s much easier.

It's the opposite for me lol. I'm better using control power shots rather than holding the button, then release

Not really unfortunately. You could make your character slow but that wouldn’t be too fun
