His artwork was not "poor"... the art school was just very prestigious and he didn't make the cut. Sure they were not up to standards but he absolutely was not a "poor" artist. Not being an apologist, just honest.
Also was accepted by as an architect and worked construction. There's some misinformation in this video.
Agreed. His paintings are definetely skillful.
@@quiver2939 He wasn't accepted as an architect- he was recommended to apply to train as an architect but he had thrown away his school grades (which weren't good enough anyway) so he couldn't prove he was qualified to enter.
Art was shat
No dude, he was denied because his type of art wasn’t popular at the time
Little did anyone know that 20 years later he would return and be remembered in a whole different way...
Remarkable he survived WW1 or then, as it was known as - The Great War
It's weird that they called it The War to End All Wars.
@@aryajunik0875 I wish it did, instead it ended up sowing the seeds for WW2.

Yeah, but he probably had some mental issues, and he decided to stay in the world he was living in, instead of seeing the reality of the situation
The real reason they rejected his paintings is because they said they were too good. My main question is how can a painting be too good.

I've seen some of Hitlers art before. I think one of his biggest problems was he was too rigid and technical. The art looked fine it's just the way he set everything, it was too centered and straight forward, I dunno how to articulate it.
Would have been a competent draftsman doing technical drawings
A mirror into his mind, he desired his world strictly defined, no exceptions. Your stereotypical by the book kinda guy
Nope the art was good but not good enough
Best not trying to articulate it then.
@@hoosier-daddy6807 You know how if you paint scenery where you have for example a farmhouse and a field? You would want to offset the house and show off some scenery on the other side or whatever. 6:02 being assigned as a message runner during the War was a fairly dangerous job, on both sides, as one would generally have to run messages from the front to the rear to the front during battle, essentially running through the gamut of trenches and exposing themselves to artillery and mortar attack as well as gunfire, gas attacks, snipers, and trench raids. That is misinformation on this video about poorly Hitler's painting skills. His painting skills were good. He was twice rejected from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. The problem was that the predominately Jewish panel of the Vienna Academy of Fine Art rejected him for a trivial matter of his paintings. It was one of the reasons he felt growing bitter toward Jews. We saw his painting arts, especially architecture painting, and it looked remarkably good. He would be better off being a painter instead of a sadistic dictator.
This is really a wonderful video.

The Gummi Bears of Gummi Glen are the last of a once great race of Gummis. Regarded by many as a fairytale they are gentle, loveable creatures who want to live in harmony with mankind - but sometimes it's not easy.
* A group of reclusive humanoid bears and a few trusted humans explore their lost heritage and prevent their enemies from exploiting it.
* Long ago, there was a thriving civilization of small humanoid bears called Gummi Bears. Possessing powerful magic and advanced technology, this race coexisted with humans until the growing rivalry forced the Gummies to flee across the sea, leaving only a small caretaker colony to prepare for a possible return. However, generations passed and the colony forgot their purpose even as human knowledge of the race faded into mere legend. All that changes when the colony meets a boy with a Gummi Bear medallion which unlocks the Great Book of Gummi which reveals lost knowledge of their past. Now the colony has dedicated themselves to the new goal to rediscover their heritage with the help of a few trusted humans while preventing new enemies like Duke Igthorn from exploiting that heritage to their own ends.
