My friend who is an advanced beginner could absolutely ski this. And we'll test that theory MLK weekend 2020. Carle, would you say its the upper half of Sunshine Coast then that's steeper and earns it the Blue rating?
If your friend is an advanced beginner then I would suggest he can absolutely do this. Come off the lift and turn left then shuffle over behind the hut and turn left and come down the run on the extreme right. It's a nice, wide flat run even though it is a blue, with plenty of room to maneuver. At the bottom they can take a breather then going left, you will slowly ski along a narrow (ish) path. Come out of that and go straight on, taking the left most runs all the way back down to the bottom. They are blues, they will challenge an experienced beginner, but not in a frightening way. Enjoy!

Looking at this video I think it actually starts at the bottom of the first blue run and goes along the narrow path I described.
