Like the FRONT booms !
That Hagie sprayer is an excellent outfit, I can see why JD bought up Hagie !
One of the best channels....will you guys be at the Farm Progress Show?
Impressionnant de vous voir pulvériser dans un maïs aussi grand, enfin quand c'est nécessaire il faut le faire, vraiment une superbe culture👍
Y’all make great videos! One suggestion would be ask your viewers their opinions on items and your RUclips algorithm will pick up😎
Thanks, I’ll give that a try
The crops are looking good on Ivers Farms. Are you getting rain ? We have gotten over two inches in our part of Tennessee. We can’t get back in the hay fields for our second cutting. It is great for the row crops! Enjoyed the video!
great video, we all liked your explanation of your sprayer and the crops, corn, and beans, wear do all your beans go
Mostly to adm then on a barge headed to New Orleans then who knows where
great video reese hope eli gets to come home for you all
Another great video! I would to see your channel grow!
Pitter patter, let's get at 'er!!
thanks for your answer I run a Gator 1100 C for FS Partners Growmark and it does not have reversing fan and it is awfull
Yeah I wish everything had a reversing fan
When you were side dressing corn what were the heavier knives you were using? We’re looking for something heavier and that will last a little longer on our bar
It appears Jay just stood there the whole time during the time lapse??!! Lol
Someone has to boss
When u fung strip till corn corn do you have problems with the sprayer sucking into softer strips we run across the rows and assume the loss didnt know if you had a trick. Thanks for telling your story we should all be doing that more
We follow the planter tracks with the sprayer. Use the same tracks all year
@@agger838 so 60 foot planter and a 90' sprayer= I need to talk her into letting me buy a new sprayer lol
@@mattm4239 yeah or get extensions. There's companies that do it. We run 40ft planter and chopped boom to 80' 🤷♀️ but 120' boom would be nicer
I didn’t notice any more in the strip till than the conventional or no till
👍👍
i try to hollar at yall on the cb radio when i see yalls trucks but no on has it on i guess, lol i run clarksville tn to terre haute every other day,
What do you drive? I’ll keep an eye out for ya
I have a burgundy and black kenworth w900l. Pulling flatbed. I go north with a tarped load and south with bricks most of the time
@@dtbellamy 10-4, I haven’t been trucking lately but when I do, I’ll make sure the CB is on
look at F B N network or ag chem solutions
Ivers 👍👍
Ivers 💪💪

Just curious: With the corn that tall do you see a better result on spraying with the boom behind the sprayer were the corn is moving from going under the sprayer? Or do you see poorer coverage?
I’m not real sure which is better but it definitely looks different
Watch you every week. Great looking corn. 👍
Way cant you fungiside corn whit back boom?
You could
The Deere just isn’t as tall as the hagie and it’s just easier to see in the tall stuff
Hey Reese, enjoyed the video but was wondering if you're maybe considering getting the new Hagie 2022 sprayer? Best of both worlds JD/Hagie. Take care.
It does have some nice features but some things we like better on ours especially having platforms to get to things and room to put some chemicals and the fuel fill is much easier on ours wish they would left some things alone
@@dennisivers1602 that's too bad they over looked those things on the new machine. It sure looks much nicer otherwise
I’m not against it but we’ve already got a few things bought for next year
Do you see any yield effect on the corn that the sprayer straddles when you are putting on fungicide? Do you knock off enough pollen to make a difference?
We have not. We did see a yield benefit in using the ground rig compared to the airplane last year though
Have you tried do any corn a 2nd time around 14 days later? Been doing it here with great results, going to do some again this year beans are all done 2 times. Not sure will help much got another 8 tenths today got 8 tenths over the weekend, beans looking very yellow and late corn especially corn on corn looks rough. Very odd to say it's wet to plant double crop beans but their planted
No we haven’t but did put some on 3 weeks prior to this application
Love the Vids.. Fyi.. its my Bday !
Happy birthday
Fine lookin' crops for such a rough bunch...NO HAZARD PAY???...lol..at least the "flameout" was during down time! Can't ever rush the charcoal...I've tried many times with near similar results! Do you figure the gopro just got plowed under?? Keep up the fine farmin' fotoz!
Not sure it’s either still stuck on the truck somewhere I can’t see or on the road somewhere
Reese, What is your opinion of using a helicopter versus a plane to fly on Fungicide on corn?
Never used a helicopter but I’d like to see a test on that
Really love your channel. I have a small farm west of minneapolis Minnesota. We are really dry driest year since 1988. What do you think about putting fungicide on beans in a dry year?
We have left it off sometimes and later regretted it we just do all acres now every year we feel that we always get our money back even in worst case scenario
I like it to keep the plant healthy to even fight drought unless it’s about dead and not going to make the insurance minimum anyway
Just letting you know we got 2.5 inches of beautiful rain today. It is amazing how much you can be thankful for the blessings of rain. We have had 5.5 inches of rain since May 1st. Farming gives you a chance to Trust God.
What’s your ground speed when you are spraying?
14-15
That’s moving right along.
@@StarrMan1961 gets my pressure up that seems to make it cover better
do you have much problem with over heating
Our radiator fan reverses so we don’t. I reverse it every time I load and don’t have a problem.
I wouldn’t be able to fungicide without it. I didn’t reverse it one day to see how long it would take to get a heat warning and it took 4 loads
I have a question about timing for putting the fungicide on the corn. Do you specifically wait until the ears are filled out? It looks like you are knocking a lot of the pollen out of the tassels as the sprayer goes through the field. Do you think it would be enough to hurt the yield if you went to soon?
No I does not there is lots and lots of pollen, if wait to long the disease will hurt yield
@@dennisivers1602 Thanks Dennis.
Ivers Farms Rock. Subscribe and like. Nice looking crops.
How many gallons/acre you spray on corn?
15
May do a test using 10 , 15 and 20
Bean fungicide Miridas Top or Ace?
Lucento
Does it help you (you tube points) if we ask questions? And or comment or do you prefer I or we dont?
Not sure but I’m fine with questions
Definitely not a job I would want . Spraying corn or washing the sprayer lol . Where's Trip and George .
They’re around just didn’t make it on camera
Haggie will be dying now that Deere bought them. Deere will snatch the patents and customers and sell the company or just let it wither and die.
