It's not when JMcrofts isn't really nice in the game. Diaphone is a better player overall...I'm not surprised 😅😂

@@MrDanno Its because when Diaphone played Q, it strips away everything that he might have worried about, it striped away all the stuff he was struggling with all week, all the dropped combos, the huge parry mental stack. All that was left was his fundamentals, which are astronomically higher then JM
@@gustavosanabio473Yeah, its wild how often people forget that mental stack can really fuck with people's play, so they almost completely forget that with decent fundamentals, you can get pretty far just off that.
if you think croft, a player that's in this game for years, can lose 10 - 0 with a one week player you gotta be delutional, this was so fake i even gave it thumbs down. YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE GUY GOING D HK FROM AFAR LIKE A MORON...REALLY?

I think the most understated aspect of 3rd Strike that people don't really appreciate is that just throwing random shit out in neutral builds meter even if you arent hitting the opponent, back in the day it was not uncommon to forgo an oki setup in place of doing a couple of light shoryukens to build up meter while the opponent is knocked down. The neutral is so strong in the game, and the corners feel like they're in just the right place on stages to make you feel like there's always a possibility for a turnaround.

Diaphone! Can you do a SF6 guide, that runs through the weaknesses of each character or each character type? So many people say ‘this character has obvious strengths and weaknesses’ when to me even low characters feel so dangerous sometimes because I don’t see how to deal with them! I need anti-character guides 😭
Hey, I'm one of those people who have been playing 3s for 25 years. I'm pretty sure you could catch up pretty quickly if you wanted to, you're obviously a very quick learner. This was a fun video to watch.

With yun do the target combo into activate with out the shoulder on hit. But on block do the shoulder but mix up strength and timing to stop easy parry’s.
You want to do this as on hit the shoulder makes you lose a lot of damage
Be ready to confirm on block if they mess up and don’t block or get hit trying to parry.
Learn this concept and will improve your yun lots

Q being the underdog of the video was the biggest plot twist ever. You wrote him off so quick at the start only to end up winning 10-0 even though you spent the least amount of time with him 😂.

Q is only low-tier until you get good with him. In the right hands he's an insane damage output high defense ultra monster. Still struggles in some matchups, but completely viable, just requires a particular style of play and dedication to the character (and getting good at confirming crouch jab xx SAII). Sick that you rekt JM that hard, though I'd love to see how you fare against some A and S ranks.
believe or not, jmcroft started as a competitor, even if he didn't do much, he was decent, back in the long long past of 2010 and tatsunko vs capcom, how can I forget the days of him posting new stuff on srk and me telling him that the combo was not true but could be optimize in this way, im happy for him, he has made a career with content creation and even became a comentator for tatsunoko vs capcom events, he witness me rising to the top of tvc during the pandemic, he hated my zero, so I trolled him along with fellow commentator, yeah, good memories, but I would never lose to him no matter what game we pick, I can never picture myself losing to him, im an old school player, but I can play new games just the same.

What a great video! I don't play SF3, so, I found this informative and educational! When I did dabble with it a long time ago, I played Yun, and I felt like I learned some stuff about the characters from watching this. I do agree with you that everyone needs to have a "sweaty" character in their arsenal 😅 That is a good way to put it!
Just curious, if I may ask, how *does* Yun anti-air in this game? When I had dabbled with this game, nothing seemed to be an apparent anti-air option. Or, is having a strong anti-air game not as important in this game as it is in other fighting games?
