I normally piece together patterns, but for one a few months ago I treated myself to a large format print. Woman at Staples thought it was cool that I was sewing stuff - we've been going out for three months now! Thanks, Anastasia!
Oh I just happened across this when I got your tote pattern. Thank you for showing how to do the layers. I couldn't figure it out and I was going to search and voila, your video popped right up. Thank you for sharing your sewing knowledge.
The first time I printed and used a PDF pattern, I found the printer paper was difficult to pin to the fabric and it was hard to line up the pattern pieces correctly on the fabric because the paper was opaque. So I ordered a roll of tracing paper from Amazon, and laid it on each printed pattern piece and traced it using a Sharpie marker. This really worked great! The tracing paper pattern pieces were much easier to pin and cut out.
We have a plotter printer at work (construction company) but don’t use it often. I use printing patterns as a reason to “keep it working properly”, lol.

That’s a great idea!
