  • This BJJ Moves video demonstrates the LONG STEP LEG DRAG.
This is a great guard passing variation of using a long step pass and leg drag pass.
Both the long step and the leg drag are very effective methods of passing the guard, this combination is great.
BJJ Fanatics was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your BJJ skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for BJJ Students who don’t look at BJJ as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

This passes look to just give a general overview of the movement without the problem solving details or live rolling scenarios. They're great still as a drill and a start to really learning the techniques

PRSer that’s the whole point of the move though, if you can clear the reverse DLR hook, you can do any fancy move you like

@@PRSer Well i understand that as a principle too, but seems unreal to not consider a tight hook on the leg

Haha yes.. I think there's a lot of finer details left out but I don't really expect much from a very short video. Pretty sure there are loads of other videos online that address all manner of scenarios in passing guard in much greater detail.
