  • This is a review of the Player One Solar Fast Tilter. It's used when imaging the Sun to eliminate or reduce the appearance of Newton Rings. I show the product and explain how it is used.

I currently use the ZWO T2 Tilt Adapter, but it is a pain to use. Took me over 20 minutes to eliminate the Newton Rings using it with the included allen wrench. I will be checking out the Player One Fast Tilter today. Thanks!

That’s what I used to use. Very frustrating to operate. This new product is super easy to use in comparison

Will this work with the Quark solar filter ? My player one has a tilt adjustment already but it is hard to use with it all setup and an Allen key

Yes for sure. In fact that's what it was originally designed for. I have the PlayerOne cameras with built in tilters but using the hex key is a pain. This is much friendlier

This is a great tool and costs much less than the Daystar one
