I quite agree with you. Our sink is the same. It’s a total nightmare. Once we moved to a fixed bed we were instantly converted. Very interesting... Oh and the motormovers🤣. Looking forward to seeing the search... eCheers Oliver

Hi guys, Completely agree with you on the sinks, and as for beds - i think this is the biggest issue for many families. It was for us, but now we have a fixed bed - its brilliant. we are now spending longer away on holidays, and it really does make a huge difference.
    Hope you are all well.

Great vlog guys, love the intro, you need an outtro next. Looking forward to watching your choices for a new van 😁👍

Good luck on the choice at least having a great van means you're in absolutely no rush so will hopefully find something that is perfect :) One more thing to add to the positives maybe - it looks very smart on the outside as well. Our boys were I'd guess just fractionally older than your girls are now when we got ours so our choice was entirely driven by bed sizes as I didn't want to have to swap again after a couple of years when they became hulking teenagers and wanted to sleep outside anyway and there was absolutely no chance of them sharing. We looked for one with a fixed rear bed and front sofas which were long enough to be single beds, not much around back when we got ours hence our little one with separate upstairs caught our eye but lots of interesting things in that layout now :) Best wishes

Floorspace is always a compromise in a caravan a fixed bed will give you less space . We have a fixed bed and it is lush but sometimes when the grandchildren are staying I could wish for what you have it's really difficult to know what's best thanks for sharing

We worked out the benefit of space in the middle and a fixed bed when we bought ours a couple of years ago. I keep adding gadgets, so we don't plan to change. Look forwards to the videos.

    Hi guys,
Being new to car caravanning myself, you do have to find your feet and what suits you and you’re family. We have a similar van (Compass Casita 866) which has an identical layout and love the van. Then again we only have 2 adults and 2 kids. I can see with you guys having dogs that you benefit from some more floor space.
There is a lot of choice out there so I would suggest having a really good look around, and not just once either. First impressions can sometimes distract from the practically side of things, so a second viewing can sometimes help.
Finally you mentioned removing the rear table but not being able to remove the footstool? In my van you can remove it. I was a bit clunky (lift and tilt) but it does come out (unless that’s only on newer models?).
Good luck with finding a new van and looking forward to future videos 😊

If you have issues with space and prefer a fixed bed then you could always join us on the dark side and go for a Motorhome with drop down bed (cant recall ever seeing a caravan with a drop down bed) and rear bunks for the kids, something like the Itineo 700 springs to mind

Hmm it’s a hard one. I wanted a bailey turin this time however we decided to get the 586 due to the bunks. I wish someone did a bailey Turin but with wider side dinette but still
Keep easy space to get past like current one has. Good luck with your new purchase like new vans but the money puts us off.

Hi guys, are you going to stay with Buccaneer or thinking of defecting? Our Barracuda has got to go back as the floor is playing up again. Will watch with interest to see what you choose.
