26:47 My writing instructors told me that "Style is what you can't help doing," and pointed that in time the limitations of the past become a signature of something nostalgic or authentic-think how much effort we go to now in the digital world to mimic the sound of vinyl, which is largely a product of its how *TERRIBLE* it is as a sound storage medium. I come back to this over and over and over again, whenever my brain gets hung up trying to transcend my limitations and what I really need is permission to ship. Better when I can get something out the door, and best when I can own the limitations, even lean into them in ways.
Bro this comment is beautiful.
@@AudioHaze ❤
so this changed my life
@@bradensiech ❤️
So many albums out there were made with just an SM57. You'd be questioning your spending so many times over👀
Yeah Bon Iver’s for Emma forever ago was!! And that’s one of my fav albums :)
what are some other albums besides bon iver
@@AudioHaze same here. Jacob Collier - In My Room is also one of mine!
@lukesitalsingh - Illnois was recorded with multiple mics, with 57 used only on snare. Michigan, however, actually was recorded using 2 57s and an AKG C1000 SDC.
However, apart from the Bon Iver album (which actually has some other mics in the mix too iirc, at least for the horns), few others come to mind:
- Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen (2xSM57 into some early Tascam compact tape recorder)
- first two Elliott Smith albums (SM57 + a radio shack mic into Portastudio for the debut and a 57 through a nice preamp into some nicer Tascam reel for the self-titled)
- the first Jacob Collier album (SM58)
- reportadly, the first two Unknown Mortal Orchestra albums (SM58 to reel)
- Connan Mockasin's Forever Dolphin Love (SM57 into a Portastudio)
- first few Elvis Depressadly releases
The secret to a great recording.. great song, great parts, great instruments, great players, the producer and recording engineer making artistic decisions that serve the song. Well done Ricky!
lol also the lower thirds commentary is so good.
ABSOLUTELY, thanks Andrew!! so true though, honestly a trashy demo is the ultimate test for a mix in a lot of ways. If it sounds good there, a lot of the battle has already been won
instrumentation is very radiohead, vocal melody is very damon albarn. Your videos are amazing man keep it up. It has been very cool watching your channel grow from the beginning!
You I LOVE that comparison!! Two huge musical influences on me for sure. Thank you for sticking around as long as you have!
@@AudioHaze Oh heck yeah, those are def my main two influences as well! I hope to see some cool Damon analysis/recreation from you someday!
Truly inspiring. This is the channel that makes me open the RUclips app. This is real quality both in the work and production.
Wow thank so much!! THIS comment is super inspiring to me as a creator as well :)
I’ve been very fascinated with home recording gear and it took me a long time to actually use the gear I have at home. I got it in October last year and I didn’t get around to using it until September this year. Life has been so crazy.
I must say the advice you gave on not giving up about nailing a part on the acoustic guitar, and only using one mic for everything, I find it tremendously inspiring! What I’m trying to say is I love your videos and the high quality content that is in them! So a million thanks for your channel! It’s so inspiring!
Just wanted to say thank you for doing this video and videos like this
I realy like that you changed your focus from gear reviews to bedroom production
It's like a journey to shift the habbit of asking "What gear should I buy?" to "What else can I make with things I already have"?
It's a fight against procrastination, exclusivity and toxic mentality
It is very inspiring! Thank you
That's exactly right!! I'd been fighting that mental battle in my head for months and months, about how I aimed to create videos about production and landed in review land, there's nothing wrong with reviews I don't mean to say that, just not where I intended to be. The fact that the transition was welcomed with such open arms was so amazing
@@AudioHaze - I just found you a few days ago. I've been an electric guitarist for 25 years, done live sound, recorded a few albums in bands, but I just felt a need to build a home studio where I can record myself and others. It's coming along great, almost done, I've got a singer/songwriter to record, and I was like ... well, shit, I don't know what I'm doing yet for the recording part. I've got a Scarlett 212, a Studio Projects c1, a Princeton Reverb, jazzmaster, tele, 335, and acoustic. Your videos have been the piece I needed when I needed it. Seriously man, thank you. You're doing great work, and it's equally enjoyable from an entertainment perspective, a sound nerd perspective, and a musicians perspective.Well done.
That V1 to V2 transition is SO nice, I love that
So glad you included the montage of the recording process frustrations! This hits so close to me as I think my recording sessions have to be somewhere around 70/30 recording and cursing to myself. There was a time where I thought I had pretty good time when playing and recording myself really demonstrated to me just how sloppy I can be a lot of the time
Yeah as far as I can tell every musician I've talked to experiences a similar thing. I really think its less so about your own musician sometimes and more so about getting in your own head, and THAT element is a universal feeling. We all want the recorded take to be the best possible version of that part, so the pressure gets crazy intense
Literally my heart fluttered when I saw the scoff. Validation
Best video I’ve seen in a while! It’s really a lesson in song writing and recording. Well done 😁
Thanks so much man!! Yeah I wanted it to be just as much about songwriting as it is about production, kind of ride that line :)
this sounds FANTASTIC DUDE
Audiohaze x Mike Cole crossover episode when?
Thanks Cole!!! Keep up the great work yourself my friend :)
First of all: what a fugging banger track!
Second: thank you! You bring so much positivity to the music world, wich we really need! There are so many awesome music makers out there that get hate because they use tools that help them reach their goals! You not only go out here with your positivity and reasurance but also (and argueably more important) with amazing tips, tricks and just full blown ways of doing stuff in ways that basically anyone can. If they have the passion for it at least and a single damn mic!
I love drumming..but never had a real drum set..partially cause i'm broke as shit lol, but also cause i always though to myself..."why even bother, i wouldn't even able to record it anyway" well imma save and buy at least a kick, snare and hihats now and finally go and become a better drummer (not cause of the gear itself obviously lol, but because that's gonna make me wanna play the heck out of it..unlike my crappy E-kit haha..wich i kinda also play the heck out of anyways)
Well anyways! Thanks for what you're doing man! Much love from some random german guy that love making music haha!
Man you're going to bring me to tears!! That's what I want more than anything, I feel like there's so much content on here these days that are reaction based, judgement passed, or at the very least talk much more than they take action. If I can inspire people to make their art, that's the best outcome I could ask for :)
I truly loved this! My buddy / drummer lives in IN and I live in TN. He records at home with just a few mics and then sends the tracks to me. Then I record guitar, bass and vocals at home with just a few mics. Seeing that you did it with just one truly inspired me. And great song, dude. It really makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who uses other songs as a reference. I do that a lot. "I want a song kinda like this..." And then I'll record 3 or 4 ... or more different versions of the same song.... it gets maddening. The slow version, the fast version, the rock version, the piano version.... and I sometimes get lost in the woods other times I find the forest. This helped me see that there others in the woods with me and finding their forest. Thanks for making this.
Dang Dennis you're making me feel scene as well my friend!! Happy writing dude :)
this was jaw dropping man, amazing work on every front
Awsome song congratulations you are a great producer/writer/musician!!!
Thank you os much Miguel!
such an inspirational video man ♥
Thanks dude :)
I really relate to what you said about recording being a pain and critical ideas about instrumental prowess, I’m writing songs not competing in a talent show.
Thank you so much for this. Your music is instantly more appealing because of your authenticity. Bravely showing the hardship, the frustration and the flaws in your process is truly inspiring. This gives hope. Thank you so, so much. ❤
Yeah man I feel like RUclipsrs love to show the polished product, and there's nothing wrong with that! But the reality is there's a ton of struggle behind the scenes, and that's where the true relatability is
Really beautiful layering of the different parts. love it
Thanks Chris!
Crazy how fast you have grown! Been subbed since 5 k when you did audio reviews! Nice way to find your real love and a real audience! I’m almost at 3k I need to get niched up! Congrats again! I used to be called a dif channel name! So probably don’t rem me! But been here since before you got your first nuemann mic! lol crazy to watch someone grow so much in front of you! Congrats again my friend
Oh dude well thank you for sticking around as long as you have!! If I could give advice on growing, at least for me, I really found a good growth pace once I abandoned what I thought was "pleasing for the viewer", as backwards as that sounds. If I was so excited at a video concept that I'd be willing to drop weeks and weeks of work into it, people seemed to see that. Worry less about a niche and think about the concepts that are so exciting to you that you're willing to put a stupid amount of work into it, people see that stuff. Consciously or otherwise
“We are in our own room recording ourselves, do whatever you want” is the kind of inspirational quote we need in our feeds. Also, 100% agree with you about a bassline melody, as soon as your bass part kicked in I was hooked 🔥
Yo thanks man!! lol sometimes I think bassists will hate me for not locking into the traditional rhythmic role of the bass, but its just always been my style when I write basslines idk
@@AudioHaze haha maybe I agree with you because I’m also a guitarist, I’ve definitely had my own demo basslines changed on me by “real bassists” before. One of my favourite bassists though is Simon Gallup from the Cure (and I guess Robert Smith counts too) and he was originally a guitarist so there you go.
Love the glimpse into your creative process! Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing this with us!
Thanks dude, appreciate you watching and supporting for as long as you have!
This is a great video. I would love to see more of this content. I also am recording songs at home with affordable gear. It was very nice to see this whole process. Your comments were also very relatable, and supportive. More please!
Really enjoyed this on, thank you. I’d love to see more of your songwriting/recording.
And I'd love to do more!! Already thumbing through some of my riffs/acoustic tracks that could use expanding on
Oooooff!! That guitar melody is 😭 beautiful ❤️❤️ also your music production tutorials are an absolute gem...have learned so much from you this last month
That makes me happier than I could ever ask for :) if I could ask for one thing it’s that my videos inspire peeps to record and publish something
Helped me remember why I love music, wishing you the best
I'm gonna cry man, thank you so much for this comment
5:10 honestly, the acoustics in the demo just do it for me (love the full song too though).
I’m late to the party but incase you see this, every time I watch one of your videos I get this huge rush of inspiration to work on my own projects that I don’t get many other places, so thank you. Love watching your process and comparing it to my own and learning little things along the way, truly one of my favorite channels right now.
Anyways hope you’re having a good day and keep up the great work. :)
Ryan this is literally all I could ever ask for from my videos, thank you so much dude. All I want to do is have my own videos lead to more music being made :)
23:00 The struggle is real. Thanks for being transparent mate! Loving these videos
Thanks Joel!
Love this video! Man, this is just the inspiration I needed to stop making excuses "in the kindest way possible" and just start making music again. Thank you!
Yessir!! Go kick ass!! In the kindest way possible!!
Incredibly helpful to see recording processes at work. Soooo truly helpful. Thank you! ✌️😌🎸
That makes me so happy to hear!
this video is so important, speaking to me directly. holy shit. thank you!
Glad it spoke to you my friend! Hopefully it lights a fire to create something awesome for yourself :)
Incredible video. This is a perfect example of why I subbed and why I follow your work. Thank you!!! ❤
Yayyy thanks Blue!
Would definitely be down to see more videos like this one!
Hell yeah! I'm super down to make more
Hardcore relatability throughout this entire video/process. Wish I could sub twice. Definitely here for more of this. Thanks for revealing this part of it.
Thanks my friend!! We'll see how the vid does, I'd LOVE to do more like this :)
Absolutley amazing!!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks for checking it out!
23:46-24:01 hahaha, ohhh man do I feel that! Also, that "stop, ctrl + z" cycle is all too relatable. Great vid and great song!!
Thanks man! Yeah that motion is more burned into muscle memory than some of my own guitar riffs lol
Superb video, beautiful song! Thank you for sharing, it must have been a ton of work.
It definitely was!! But I'm getting to the point where I don't want to put anything out unless its worth your time, which usually means a ton of work haha
I’m invested……nice to see you finding out what you’ve been learning by figuring out how others have done it and investing it back into yourself and letting us watch your process. There are those of us in roughly the same space. I’m recording an album in a room in the house. Mixing and producing. Wonderful to ride shotgun along with you in that space. And the most important thing is you/we are doing it for ourselves and friends with the “making it in the business” mentality not a part of the process. Just creativity and sharing THAT! Social media at it’s best! Death Valley, just down the street, is supposed to go over 130 this weekend……
130??? I'll stick to being a fan from a difference lol, and thank you man! I really believe in social media when the intentions are good and the content is made with rigor....unfortunately that type of content is in the minority. Best of luck with the album my friend, keep going strong and see it through to the end!!
Nice song, nice video, like your videos! And you have a nice voice that can tell a story well! :)
Thanks so much dude!
What’s weird is, I have a massive, unhealthy obsession with microphones. I love them all, I think even bad ones can be used for something. I have an equally unhealthy collection of microphones. But here’s the thing, I record almost everything I do an a Lauten Audio LA320 tube mic. I have literally 38 choices in my humble home studio but that’s the mic I keep coming back to. I love it!
Also, love your song and that bass line! I love melodies in bass lines too!
Also, I find acoustic guitars always sound better with a cat on them!
Same! I've got a whole collection, but if I'm recording one source I default to handful of options I trust and know how to mix well. Lauten occupies three of those mics lol and yes....tone wood? More like tone CAT
I do a lot of trap and I love using bad ones on adlibs gives a lot of interesting textures
@@AudioHaze I’m not sure we are allowed to say tone wood anymore 😂
Amazing video,
more insights, intimate views into your process of expression/creativity like this would be amazing to watch,
thank you for the spark of inspiration,
to me that’s the best thing you can give another artist.
that was simply great
AudioHaze, you wrote a fantastic song, explored brilliantly the intricacies of this method of writing/recording, and honestly kind of helped inspire me out of a funk I’ve had for a years. Can’t tell you what this video means to me
Beautiful and informative! 🖖
Thank you!
Has to be the best video I have seen in months. Very inspiring with great information dressed in thoughful reflections and ideas.
Thanks man!! That was the goal, try and tempt with production hacks and show a lot more depth than just that haha
Man I really really love this song. Please keep making your own songs and bringing them out they’re so so good. Thanks for this song❤
Thanks Felix! Yeah I think I probably will make more, I made this one with zero intentions and just wanted to feel it out....but ngl I got the writing bug
That bit about insecurities and getting it right and doubting yourself as a musician - that kicked me in the feels so hard. I found your channel recently after trying to get back into recording and releasing a song a month for a year and am experiencing all of those things. Thanks, I really needed to hear that. I helps alot.
Great tune btw, love your work and that you're teaching noobs like me how to make better music
Fantastic job taking us inside your production process. 10/10 👏 👏
Love how you edited this video! Incredible work man, thanks for having me as always 🙏🏼
THANKS DOOOOOD, thanks for being in the vid, as always :)
i was hoping for this video. thank you.
Glad you found it then my friend!
Thank you for making these videos. I've been producing music for two years and recently started taking it more seriously. Your videos have been a huge help with my mixing, structure, and composition. I enjoy sampling songs and adding my own counter melodies, MIDI basslines, and drums (It's the way I feel most comfortable making music), and hearing you say not to worry about how we create our art gives me confidence. Thank you!
Ofc dude!! Too many people online these days "reacting", judging, doing just about anything but making stuff themselves. Create in what ever way feels most natural to you, and don't let anyone drag you down for it :)
Amazing stuff, dude. Keep it coming.
Thanks man!! I'll keep it up as long as I can :)
Love this type of video
Truly inspiring
Thanks man! Glad it was helpful
I dig the video content, really good stuff man. Also the song vibe is amazing, you definitely hit the mark, it's a banger.
Thanks man! Glad you liked the vid, yeah I'm really proud of that track :) felt so good to write again
def my favorite video so far - great hearing original stuff, plus i love the idea that we all have go-to "comfort riffs" (never really thought of it that way) and esp. love seein professionals doin "spacebar, ctrl+z, spacebar, ctrl+z..." ad nauseum too!
Honestly one of the most entertaining, informative, and influencing videos out there.
Damn dude you have no idea how happy I am to hear this :) really keeps me motivated to keep making stuff like this
This is super tight! Radiohead/Fog Lake vibes and also infused with your own thing in a great way. Layering the samples for the drums is something I've never thought of, super cool!
Thanks Landon! Yeah give it a shot, one of my fav drum sounds I've ever gotten :)
I currently have four mics including the Lauten LA220. It gets the most use and has become my go to recommendation. It’s a killer mic
Its sick, you really have to TRY to get a bad sound out of a Lauten mic lol
Really really great video! Super honest and the song sounds excellent. I really loved the demo with the acoustic guitar too hehe. Keep going :) ❤️
Thanks Ivan! I definitely will :)
By far and away your best video yet! Great encouragement to everyone recording at home. You have tremendous talent in music, video production and giving people inspiration to follow their creative dreams no matter what budget limitations they might have. Very well done!
Great video !!!
Thank you so much!
Such a great video! You're a legend
Appreciate it my friend!
nice video! can't wait for a video where you recreate a heavier sounding song,i'd like to see how you produce something like that.
OH me too.....coughcoughturnstilecoughcough
this was super super helpful. it's nice to see other musicians struggle with recording in the same way i do, and i'm sure many people do
I may even go as far as to say most people do :)
Was looking for a mic, thankyou!
What are you wanting to record? There's about a million great options depending on your situation.
@@legacyShredder1 Ive got a bunch of guitars, a nitro mesh e kit with quite cymbals with all the holes in them and a bunch of other instruments like tongue drums, I'm best at 6 string bass and use a Roland RX bass amp, the one you can put batteries in, its amazing. Been arranging and flipping samples with Ableton for over a year and everything sounds great. Now I have tones of experience I wana try doing comedic rapping over my own playing. Do you have a recommendation?
@@RoboBobitic I personally love the LA-220 as a catch all! But like legacy shredder said there's a bajillion wonderful budget options these days
This is an amazing video, in inspiration, how to think and the musical content itself, i would love to see more videos like this one, Subscribed.
Thanks Kevin!! I'd love to make more like this, got that writing bug in me now :)
23:39 Seeing you frustrated and pissed off ("why is my finger doing that?!") is actually super encouraging to me. I've been working on recording a song I wrote a year ago, a song I've played maybe a hundred times now, and last weekend recording I just couldn't control my hands.
It's nice to know these things aren't just me. I'm not bad or broken, I'm just human.
Take a break if you need it, work on a different part. Know you can do it and don't quit, because your art is worth making.
"F* you. F* me. F* this." is so freaking relatable. 😂 I'm pretty sure I said exactly this last week.
Thanks for this video. And I love the song!
Love this comment!! Make art at all costs, and if you can't get the part down at the time move on and come back when you have a more level head. We all need to hear that sometimes, can't tell you how many times I've fixated on a part for hours only to come back the next morning and get a better take within 10 minutes lol
Dude, I love you. That's all.
This video was a beautiful journey guided by you. Well done on all fronts. Great collaboration
Thank you my friend!
26:28 - It's one of the most important words to hear and keep in mind! Thank you, just thank you! Amazing video and the song also!
Thank you my friend!! Happy writing :)
LOVE when a bass has a melodic motif and doesn't only follow the root, too . Beautiful song and wise words at the end! Looking forward to more original stuff.
Thanks Mustafa!! Appreciate you being such a supportive viewer my friend, means a lot truly :)
This video is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the title.
Its significant.
13Raspect for showing the struggle / behind the scenes
Yessir that's the goal! Teach but also get a little deeper than just production techniques, glad you liked it man!
So dope! just got this mic a couple weeks back - sweet song and well done recording!
Thanks dude! Yeah the mics a beast, so smooth and warm
This is easily your best video. Love getting to see the process of another artist. Really appreciate that whole “don’t let anyone, even yourself, get in the way of making art” advice, I feel like a lot of us bedroom musicians can get too into our own heads and we tend to forget to set aside egos and just create.
Totally! Especially with the endless tracks and takes we can do...we can always get it "more perfect" ya know. Glad you enjoyed my friend :)
Great video and songs. But the most important thing about it is the last words about all of us competing ourselves and constantly questioning our abilities...
Very inspiring and motivating.
Thank you from my heart.
Elias (Greece)
Thank you Elias, happy I could be of some inspiration :)
This sounds so fucking good!!! Honestly don't have more words to describe it. Completely fits the vibe. Also, love your videos mate!!
Thanks my friend! So glad you enjoyed the vid :)
i love your videos. so much insight and clarity! and more importantly so inspirational!
Thank you so much!! Trying my best out here, hope it was helpful :)
I'm with you on Lauten, they're my favorite too. We just did a studio inventory stock audit for my insurance last week, and it turns out we own more Lauten mics than any other company by a landslide. I think for just Lauten I have 36 mics lol. They're such incredible sounding and flexible mics, and they have fantastic customer service.
DANG!! You must be their biggest customer!! They really are insane, incredibly hard to make a Lauten sound bad
@@AudioHaze There are studios that own way more than I do, but I admit I own a lot.
This video is so sweet man. So many insights and bits to learn from. I loved the personal bits and advice when it comes to holding yourself back. Thank you for all of it
And thank you for checking it out!
Highly relatable and learnt a lot. Best thing on RUclips I have seen in a while. Thanks so much! Tune is fantastic too.
Best thing on RUclips in a while?? Dude you have no idea how much that means, thank you!
Thanks dude!
Wonderfully written and produced song. Most liberating part of your documentary?.... The mess ups, retakes, frustrations, experiments. This made it feel real and that the struggle is not a sign that you/we suck. No matter how successful you get, I hope you never forget the bedroom producer. This is gold.
Thanks Rob!! Nah man I want to be a bedroom producer for life, big studios are fun as hell but they're a luxury at this point, so much can be done for so little :)
Amazing!!! very good congratulations, gained another follower!!! =D
I have a feeling I’ll be coming back to this video for a while. Mostly as a reminder to create freely
Happy to be that support net for you when you need it :)
Came here straight from Tiktok. So good. keep it up
Yo welcome to the channel!
What a great video man, been loving the production lately - and damn what a great song!
Thanks dude!! Glad you like it my friend, was so nice to write again, haven't worked that muscle in ages
Because of you I got the Shure SM57, because of you I planned to get the AT4040 as well, because of you I’m torn between the AT4040 and The Lauten 220. Keep the expert advice coming. Great video and wonderful song. Cheers!
SM57 +220 deadly combo!!! Thanks for watching :)
Love like it sounds a bit like Radiohead when mixed, but like The Beatles when not... Love the guitar parts.
Literally the best compliment I could hope to receive on the track wow
I’m still watching, but I just have to say, I’m loving this format! I’m having a great time watching this. I love that you leave breaths of air in the edit instead of bombarding the viewer with non-stop excitement. The pacing is just great!
It’s like watching a mini-documentary instead of regular “content” (for lack of a better word). I really appreciate you making this 😊
Thanks Tom! That was definitely the goal, I wanted to reach further into shooting rather than crazy graphics. Learn a bit more about story telling ya know
Good job bro, absolutely crushed it. It’s no small feat to make what you did let alone with only one mic. This deserves all the recognition
Thanks dude!! So glad you like it, truly thank you sm :)
You should be beyond pleased with yourself and your group, Ricky! That was an incredible watch, full of amazing insight. This video will go down in audio history as a legendary musician showcasing his work and process from when he was young! Nobody quite does it like you & keep it up man - you're an inspiration to everyone :)
Bro you're going to make me cry, thank you sm my friend :)
Brother got them angry eyebrows
This sounds really good! That lossy usage is neat, and the drum setup is really cool! Hell of a mic too, shows how much mileage people should be getting out of the tools they have on hand. Also yeah, 100% agree on that “real musician” bullshit. The whole point of “playing” music is to have fun. That’s why it’s called playing. Also, one guitarist to another, fuck what anyone has to say bad about your playing. You rip like crazy bro.
Grandma, you figured out how to use the app on the phone I bought you? That's nice, but remember to keep some things to yourself.
@@sloftypretty dumb reply, but go off king
Random unwarranted hate reply go brr :(
Thanks dude! Yeah the "real musician" thing really grinds my gears, kind of smells of "kids these days"-core.
Also guys its all good I appreciate the defense but this is my discord moderator! He's just teasin'
This is exactly the kind of shit I have been hoping you'd make since forever. Love love love the new direction.
Yeah I'm hoping this could maybe turn into a new series, about creating under tight limitations or something :)
Amazing video man. You have such a unique way of creating your art. Never stop inspiring others
I'll keep doing my best, appreciate you taking the time to check out the vid :)
You’ve become my favourite youtube channel in only 3 videos I absolutely adore how you build your content and the advices are SO good and useful thank you for all
I'm honored to be one of your favorites my friend!! At the end of the day, there's enough content out there that's about judging without doing, really just trying to inspire people to create more so than judge what's already been made
@@AudioHaze Yesss I thiink that’s why your work stands out its built in a way that makes us want to compose and even mix which for me i’m still new to, and this video was an absolute joy to watch I couldn’t wait to go home and start a new project after a few months of not making anything
I thought just me has a comfy riff to play in special overwhelmed moments. I like your channel because you make things in a personal way, I love that
Nah man I think we all have that!! its like a musical fidget toy for anxiety hahaha
Man thank you so much for that speech in the end I'm starting on recording more rock oriented music coming from an electronic production background and the ego thing is definitely a thing
Thank you for validating how fucking hard and tough the process is
Of course man, I'm on the artists side, I will always and forever be on the artists side. Make your vision and do it at all costs.
Completely new to production and tech side of music having only really been the lead guitar for my band, you are so good mate, everything is so easy to understand :)
Dude welcome to the production world!! Its incredibly rewarding, I started as a guitarist and now being a guitarist and an audio engineer are near inseparable to me. Appreciate the kind words!
This video literally made me cry thank you adultblaze
just something about that riff man i swear :'))
aw thanks man!!! I'm so glad to hear that, this riff means a lot to me on a personal level, glad it resonated :)
