Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala, Saturday 15th April 2023

Here is my video from the 2nd day of the gala. This was my last day as I had tickets for Monster Trucks live on Sunday. ( Shall be uploading that video soon ).
Saturday was a glorious spring time morning and afternoon. Warm, sunny, the sound of bird song & the thundering of steam engines.
This video follows the engines from Bridgnorth in the morning, to Hampton Loade & then Arley before heading home.
Trains were really full which can only be good for the railway.

I was on that train with Erlestoke Manor between Arley and Bewdley. The noise she made as she accelerated off Victoria Bridge and then heading past Northwood was amazing.

I think they pushed it a bit harder as it was one of the last trains in that most people would have used. It definitely was a great sound

Did you ride on many trains or just stay lineside. It was pretty busy on every train.
