There’s a really good video on sukuna philosophy I don’t remember it but it explains how after the yuta , jjk 0, everything’s been focused around sukuna and how even the narrator isn’t fully sure about sukuna but there’s more to it just thought it was interesting to note

Yaga was the one who brings back his nephew (in the form of dolls) after his death, Kusakabe's sister got depressed and thanks to yaga, his sister finally can meet her son (even tho in the form of dolls) and smile again that's why yaga is important to him

@theweebcommander Yea, there was that really sad scene where yaga goes to see his kids before he leaves to go be killed by principal slash, kusakabe meets him there with his deeply depressed sister, who's son had died and yaga made a cursed corpse with the boys soul that he was keeping in the woods for safety, and he was talking to kusakabe about how he knew he was going to die and telling him he could keep bringing his sister to see the dolls. Kusakabe had a really touching moment with yaga where he thanked him for helping his sister, because she is the only thing kusakabe had, and it was destroying him to see her hurting so much from the loss of her son, and his nephew too. Really great scene, I think it might be the last one yaga is in before his last fight, and I've always had a soft spot for kusakabe ever since I saw that
To be fair, Miguel was there to distract Gojo. He didn’t need to fight Gojo. He needed to keep him busy. Miguel taking damn near no visible damage after the fight is actually very impressive.

A lot of people used to make fun of the "Nobara is gonna come back vs Sukuna" crowd, but now taking into consideration the direction the manga is talking I wouldn't be surprised if Gege decided to actually bring Nobara back...just to have Sukuna kill her definitely this time
My guess is that Nobara has been healed/at least better than what we last saw of her off screen this whole time, and will be the deciding factor in a clash against Yuji. I think that since Sukuna ate 19 fingers and the mummified body to replace the 20th finger, she will use her soul resonance on the actual 20th finger, disrupting Sukuna's soul over Megumi (similar to what she did against the Mahito clone while the original was fighting against Yuji and was stunlocked), thus Yuji will more than likely land a full power Black Flash.
This is a huge reach, of course, but Sukuna is getting to Madara levels of OP at this point so an ass pull isn't too farfetched.

The way I see it now, there’s 3 possible endings:
Ending 1: Sukuna wins. This… will probably not happen. Gege’s editors and Shōnen Jump as a whole wouldn’t want it to happen. So it likely won’t.
Ending 2: Sage of Six Paths Bullshit. You all know what this means. You’ve seen Naruto.
Ending 3: Merger. Yuji takes hold of the merger and use that to kill Sukuna. And either A, exists as a nigh immortal sole survivor of Japan. Or B, undoes the Merger at the cost of his own life, reviving everyone who became part of it while being surrounded by all his friends.
So there's three endings: the one the author wants, the one we want, and the Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Probably 3 and 2 combined. SOMEONE NEEDS A POWERUP Sukuna is just running through bodies.

To be fair, Gojo stated that Miguel was a problem. Miguel was also able to dodge some of Gojo's attack, survived multiple punches from Gojo with little to no damage, and he didn't even bothered to use his curse technique. Sure he ain't on 'equal' footing, but he's at least first grade materials.

One thing that’s being majorly overlooked is the fact that both Hikari and Yuta both said that they puked after being hit by Gojo, his punches are NOT normal punches in the slightest. Miguel came out of that fight relatively unscathed considering how many hits he took. Not landing a hit on Gojo who is using his Infinity is not a downplay to anyone.

The thing that gets me is that there is a large hole in the story. In that all we have on the front lines of the Shinjuku Showdown fighting Sukuna are: Gojo, a few random teachers/ 1st grade sorcerers, students (who have been studying for about a year or 2), and some newly awakened sorcerers who have known about jujutsu for 2 months (and remember Yuji, has only known about jujutsu for 6 months at this point.).
The “hole” I’m talking about is the absence of everyone else. We know the Kamo clan was under Kenjaku’s control, now that he’s dead will they “wake up”, the Gojo clan will they show up now that Satoru was cut down? When Geto declared war that was potentially a country ending threat… Yaga in jjk0 was ready to call on the alumni network of jujutsu tech, the Ainu jujutsu society etc. Where are those people? There are also other clans in the jujutsu world which Gojo had briefly explained before, where are they? With the threat of Sukuna the absence of others in the jujutsu world are all the more conspicuous. Maybe seeing Miguel pull up, might signal the beginning of others getting involved in the fight?
This arc is kind of like the Naruto 4 Great ninja war arc in how serious it is for everyone else and everyone joined forces. That is missing here and it noticeably absent.

@@JamesC-ww8lb There are more people in the Gojo clan. It’s not just Satoru. We know this because after after Megumi was named heir of the Zenin clan, some of the members actually supported him because they thought that since Megumi had been close to Satoru, it could improve relations between the Zenin clan and the Gojo clan. We also see that after the massacre of the Zenin clan, both the Kano Clan and Gojo clan wanted to vote to remove the Zenin as one of the Big 3 Families. So there are other member of the Gojo clan, we just haven’t met them yet.
As for the Zenin I’m aware they were massacred. That’s why I didn’t mention them.
As for the Kamo, being part of a powerful clan like that, they would have a lot more jujutsu knowledge (cursed technique , weapons, maybe even historical knowledge) not known to people like Yuji or Choso that would probably be useful now in a battle like this. So not being present is still an issue. Yes Norotoshi left, but we still don’t know about the rest of them.

IM REACHING TO THE STARS WITH THIS ONE! Here’s what I want to happen:
Yuji and Miguel keep Sukuna since we did see Choso telling Yuji to heal and helping him and Miguel just appeared. This gives Ui Ui time escape with Kusakabe.
After that, we see Yuta getting heal by shoko and then NOBARA RETURNS (I know…copium) to help in the fight. Then, after Yuta is healed he throws up the finger and gives it to Nobara for her to use her straw doll technique with. And this is what can help do massive damage against Sukuna from a distance. Since the fingers are indestructible she can keep using her technique on it over and over again to weaken Sukuna in soul damage, while Yuji also weakens the soul enough for him to reach Megumi again.
Reaching I know but hey…it’s what I would want.

You know about miwa's binding vow. She literally just can't use a sword anymore thats it. So all she needs to do is either create a cursed technique, change her fighting style to some other weapon and she's good.
My few ideas on how it all ends
1.sukuna wins by killing everyone and then fights the merger.
2.yuji comes back and talk no jutsu megumi into fighting back against sukuna kicking out his body leaving him vessel less.
3.yuji comes back and talk no jutsu megumi into fighting back against sukuna but after he kicks out sukuna he starts the merger.
4.gojo and everyone else who was defeated before come back and jump sukuna finally ending him.
5.yuji switches his soul with megumi to kick sukuna out megumi body.
6.everyone dies but yuji then he gets an asspull power up to finally kill sukuna.
Last but not least Sukuna kills everyone and Yuji eats the merger. I WILL EAT ANYTHING

Sukuna had a line in 248 about how Shoko’s RCT wasn’t that good. To me that felt like foreshadowing. I think it was meant to have Sukuna underestimate her healing ability and she’ll actually revive people like Yuta and Higuruma, maybe even Gojo. I just feel like that was a set up line.

Actually I’m pretty sure we’ve seen Sukuna fire off his slashes without moving in the past. It was displayed in the Shibuys arc(at least in the anime) when he demanded Jogo and those two girls kneel for him, and my assumption was that’s how he caught Gojo with his world cutting slash; by making motions the entire fight and hiding his ability to do so without until he was certain he could end the fight.

I’m interested in that first conclusion idea where Megumi does successfully wake up, but with a twist: he doesn’t entirely go crazy and start the merger. So I cooked up a scenario without much of anything in the way of sources. 🤣
I’m picturing a scenario where Megumi wakes up and even regains control of himself, but only for a few moments. Not being Yuji, he’s not going to be able to suppress Sukuna for very long, but for a moment there’s an opportunity to kill Megumi and bring this all to an end. Megumi would obviously take this opportunity, both as punishment for his failings and a bit of redemption through taking Sukuna to the grave with him. It’s such a Megumi thing to do, “fix everything at the cost of my life” has been his mindset for most of the story. But this time, it’s the only way.
We could also picture a scenario where Yuji is the only person alive on the battlefield who is able to do this, and so the roles are completely flipped. Megumi was always the one who said he was prepared to kill Yuji if it came down to it, but instead we have Yuji being forced to kill Megumi- one final blow to Yuji’s mental state at the end, as Gege seems to enjoy doing.
We could even have a last moment of worry as Sukuna returns inside of Yuji, as it’s revealed that Yuji is the 20th finger; but with all the other fingers destroyed through Megumi’s death, Sukuna now gets to live on as a shadow of his former self, forever suppressed by Yuji, and unable to be the strongest sorcerer ever again as the new generation Gojo trained begins to surpass him.
“What about the merger?” Let’s just have Tengen lose it and be another big bad that the sorcerers have to deal with without getting a break after Sukuna’s dealt with. Maki can recover and play a bigger role here, along with Yuji and possibly Yuta. And thus the next generation of Special Grade sorcerers takes the stage- 3 students of Gojo who will change the jujutsu society, just like he wanted.

Without Mahoraga and it’s design Sukuna does not win against gojo. That much is clear to even the most bias Sukuna fans. And then you have him fight first and then each person after is weaker then weaker then weaker. It should have been left as strongest v strongest at the end. Gojo v Sukuna final form at the end. That way if Sukuna somehow managed to win it would prove he was stronger. Not this ridiculous plot that Gege wrote.

In Chapter 147 it's shown that Principal Yaga created a cursed corpse using the soul information of Kusakabe's Nephew as a favour for his sister. This is why Kusakabe feels indebted to the Principal !

Before the Sukuna vs Gojo fight even began:
•Sukuna built up his power back to full
•Then amped his already full power even more by eating various cursed items
•Then obtained a stronger body that is more fit to fight sorcerers
•Then added 10 Shadows to his arsenal
•Brought a cursed item just in case
Sukuna needed all of that prep time and multiple amps just to stand a fighting chance against base Gojo. Sukuna was not holding back at all, that’s bs.
During Sukuna vs Gojo:
•Gojo brought Sukuna to near death at least 7 times in 11 chapters
•Sukuna used the 10 shadows to adapt to void just to have a fighting chance at countering
•Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of sorcery, it has been established in the world lore. Sukuna used Domain Expansion at least 5 times, his strongest technique against Gojo.
The narrator and Sukuna fans claim that Sukuna isn’t even trying yet Sukuna almost died multiple times, needed to adapt/create a new technique just to counter Gojo, and used his strongest technique multiple times against Gojo. Sukuna literally tried his hardest just to survive.
And what does Geje do? Off-Screens Gojo because he’s a Sukuna meat rider.

Go watch Fate Grand Order, no bs the Fate series is the closest anime to this. They even have the same va for characters with the same ideals. I realized that early on and haven’t been surprised once by what Gege has written. I even predicted Maki could see the slash and Miguel would show up on Seth the Programers stream and he said I was wrong. Turns out I was right.

Then found out domains (I.e., reality marbles) were a thing & it sealed the deal. The Nasuverse set the foundation for all of this kind of power system. HXH came out before, but JJK parallels Fate more than anything. It’s just not obvious to someone who isn’t deep in the Nasuverse
Miguel got ROLF stomped by Gojo. Even with his ability to “nullify” his technique. Sukuna tanked most of Gojos abilities and walked away with a “W”. While I consider the situation different due to skill change I can’t see Miguel walking away from this unscathed. Or at all for that purpose. The theme seems here that “ego” has forced the good guys to believe one-one fights was ever a good idea. In Jump-jutsu Kaisen they should have swarmed him in an organized fashion. That’s why they are losing. Let’s hope whatever is going on in the background is a unified attack from the remainder of the living sorcerers.

barring the idea of Gojo being smart and letting his students help him, they could have given Maki the sword instead of having her hide for 10 chapters, then she could (potentially) kill Sukuna (maybe even do it all with a trick by having Higuruma be covered by debris and have Maki secretly grab the sword and stab Sukuna on the back).

We have seen Sukuna use his Cleve and dismissal without moving before. He did it in season 2 with the girls. Again with Jojo a couple of times. That is as much I could remember. I can’t recall if he did it in season 1.

Since a comedy element is evident in Sakunas destruction of the others could the funny guy who was fighting the guy with teeth in his brain have gotten Sakuna and the others into his domain and be using it to somehow trick Sakuna?
I know that is highly unlikely because his domain would have to also includes the assistant who is fighting nearby as well and he likely does not have that level of power needed to do so. i just thought it would have been a neat idea if they could have fooled Sakuna to such an extent but I realize that guy is likely way too badass to fall for something like that. Giving Sakuna such a narcissistic gift would be good though and would explain why everyone has improved in such a short span of time.
Honestly I wouldn’t be so tired of this predictable gauntlet format if Gege actually gave me a reason to care about these characters and their stories in the first place. With Kusakabe it just feels like we skipped 95% of his story/character development to reach his conclusion. Gege does this thing where he doesn’t actually write character arcs but instead uses their conclusion to imply their development

Kusukabe feels endebtted to Yaga because Yaga made a doll of Kusukabes sisters dead son to help her with her grief. There is a deeper connection that just giving him a place to be (tokyo high). Was awhile ago though so fair enough for missing it
In the manga, a lot of the fight between Gojo and Miguel was offscreen in 0.3. Might have turned out slightly differently in the manga if Gege expanded on it
