The heartstone is the only mission I feel bad about. The glyphids attack without being provoked, Rivals are evil elves, Mactara are evil, All of those are actively hostile on sight. But the heartstone is neutral to your presence in its territory, and only tries to defend itself when it becomes clear you’re a legitimate threat ((counterattacks start phase 2.)) This rock is sentient and fears death, and we just harvest it like any other mineral. But yet I still do it, So I’m a monster *shrugs*
I don't think they are sentient, I think the planet is. And I think that those nature loving elves know that, and that's how they managed to get in. Ever notice how the whole planet is hostile to just you and nothing else? Even the herbivores are safe, and the majority of the wildlife is carnivorous. The hostile creatures are just the immune system trying to get rid of a threat, and the hearthstones are just the decentralized nervous system somewhat coordinating the ecosystem. But that's just a theory
"The glyphids attack without being provoked" - other than the fact DRG invaded their home and began digging everywhere. Seems like provocation. Not to mention Egg Hunt missions. "Rivals are evil elves" - elves is debatable, but they are only as evil as DRG "Mactara are evil" - see Glyphids above Deep Rock has clearly been mining this area for some time. At this point, the Glyphids attacking every time they detect noise and vibration is just a response to invaders. =-=- The DRG company is profit driven to the extreme, abandoning workers to die, leaving dotty, and anything else that doesn't fall within their profit line. The standard issue equipment is substandard and you have to modify it to be effective using your own paycheck. They give performance bonuses in company scrip which was made illegal in the U.S. in 1938 under the fair labor standards act. While, you, as a dwarf, may not be evil, the company as a whole most certainly is. =-=-= It would be interesting to see this game from the perspective of the players playing as a team of Glyphids trying to drive off the dwarven invaders.

imagine if they add pain screams like in doretta, that would make the mission awful to complete

boo hoo my shard defractor needs fuel fuck that rock
@@srchilakill It screams at the end of each phase
Now I wonder if you can carve out enough of the rock around Doretta that the ground bound enemies can't reach her.
new escort meta just dropped
5:27 I just find it funny to think management just saw some random fucker outside their windows with some jet boots in the middle of space
Jet boot with moonrider and broken gravity, you basically go up forever and even breaks the game after a while, it's well worth it 👍
This answered some questions I had about the game great job, Rock & Stone!
a bit of fucking around with the boys
Truly the male fantasy
Bro imagine they actually got stuck under the heartstone
The fact drills don't work on the hearthstone bed is infuriating.
