I would prefer if luxury/higher-end companies would stick to having high quality refillable packaging rather than just cardboard. I personally think that this could be more sustainable. That’s the way many vintage products were packaged and they’re still functional until today. 😊
I would expect that from a luxury brand: a luxurious packaging that can be refilled with their amazing product (because if is that expensive the product should also be amazing). Of course, I cannot afford luxury products, but if I could buy one… I want it to be refillable!
I want them to do it like how they do cushion foundations, sell the product in the refillable container straight off and not make you buy it separately at a premium

I love when palettes come with the “push button” opening. I have a beautiful friend that’s an arm amputee and while she can do basically anything some palettes make her work much harder at opening them because of the way they’re packaged.
I think it's totally fine for makeup to be expensive if the quality of the packaging and product holds up to it. I only hate it when luxury brands slap their name on a shitty product and think that's enough. So I'd definitely buy from Victoria Beckham if I had the money.

The ppl who said your eyeshadow looks aren’t “wearable” are frustrating. To each their own. They can look at your technique & use whatever shades they like. That’s what I do. I’ve learned where to place the darkest shade to the lightest. I like that you like trying out more exciting colors/looks. You do you.
Victoria Beckham eyeshadow is also fragrance free which I and my eyelids appreciate. Glad that not every luxury brand has to have overly perfumed product.
@@apocalypse_jenn I’ve noticed that a lot of professional make up artist brands don’t have scent in them. I would imagine it’s because they have to deal with so many different people with different needs. As someone who suffers from frequent eyelid eczema, I appreciate it greatly.
I didn't think eye shadows would be fragranced. Like why? Lip products i get i guess even though you can't taste it but fragrance in eyeshadows? Why? Also i notice the eyeshadows look like the hindash palette.
The only thing I want to add here in case it helps someone is that the Tweed Smokey eye brick stinks to high heaven of sour/off baby powder. It may not be perfumed but it unexpectedly gave me severe migraines. The other eye bricks are fine so it is something in just that one. Such a waste of $ for me.

I've purchased almost everything from this line. I enjoy having better packaging that doesn't get busted up in my makeup bag. The primer is actually more like skincare. It makes your skin look better even if you don't use foundation. The lip products are all very good. The one dud for me are the lid lusters. I have thin hooded lids, they crease and look messy. Definitely not for my eye type. The other eye products are perfect. Uncomplicated luxury is how I would describe this line.
Can I ask you a ?: Which primer did u use? I can’t decide bw the rejuvenating primer in golden or the one in original. How did u like the lipstick? I like colors that are darker & “Moody” looks nice but I also like “Play”
@@annaelisavettavonnedozza9607 I have both primers. I'm a little too pale in the winter to pull of the golden. When I have little more color going its perfect. Unless you are very pale and have very pink undertones, its wearable for anyone. The lipstick its very creamy almost balmy. I have to be careful with undertones. I am pale olive with naturally dark lips. A lot of lipstick pulls orange on me. So I have a hard time choosing colors online. The shade Pose is neutral and grungy. I love it. Play is definitely a dark cool red. Don't have Moody, looks like it might have more purple in it. Hope that helps.
Looks fab, everything and anything VB has been great imo. Victoria's eyeliners are hands down the best ones I've ever used, and I stopped trying to use any other brand now for eyeliner. If you have super sensitive eyes, they are the absolute winners (all others usually give me probs)!! I do hope you can get your hands on those and experience how great those are!!
@@asena1181 I use them to line my lid, tightline, and waterline. They are *very* soft and creamy. My eyes are exceedingly teary, so it's hard for me to truly say how well they wear for tightline and waterline for average eyes. For me, the lid and tightline stay put, the waterline I do have to touch up (but that's with any pencil for me). The beauty of these is the colors and how creamy and *non-irritating* they are. Just about *every* pencil known to man hurts me upon application or irritates me during wear. Not these! They are amazing!

I love Chanel and Dior eyeshadows because they are perfect for work. They are subtle and don't require me to blend for hours because of pigments. It's amazing especially on low lights, they show so nice since I work inside the office. And for the color choices, it's because we can't wear purple in the office, we usually use blue, brown and burgundies and grey.

Honestly, one of my favorite things about Robert’s “looks”, particularly his eyeshadow, is how “not wearable” they are. That’s how I do my eye shadow-always bright colors and shimmers on the lid. That’s my style. I love when I find others who share in that :)
Overall, her line has fail-safe options. I have ALL of her line and the standouts for me are: The primer (in Golden) -- it's an added layer of moisture, finish, and glow. Sometimes I can skip foundation, and I when i use it, I need less. The lip liners and lippies -- I love the curation of shades/colors, and I love the refreshing look. Certain colors do wear longer. The bitten lip tint is quite nice. A moist and juicy stain. *THE SATIN KAJAL PENCILS* -- These are my holy grail pencils. They are *very* soft and smudgeable, true kajal. You can smudge them into shadow easily, too. The colors -- omg. Trust me on this one!
Can’t wait to see what more she comes out with this year. I have two of her blush sticks in Playground and Miniskirt and they are they only two blushes I reach for on a day to day. They blend and stay on even with masks and such all day. I also really love the Bitten Lip Tint in Amour, it’s the perfect peachy-browny-nude for everyday. Hoping she launches concealer and brow this year.

@@OsloTime I will say the lip tint isn’t so long wearing but the color wears away evenly and slowly so there’s no obvious line where it’s gone, if that makes sense. I usually reapply after lunch and then maybe again after work if I’m going out… but not really going out with the pandemic so 😅 lol. Lipliner as a base helps with longevity but I like a no-makeup makeup look so I skip it!
I have most of her pieces in this line and I love the eyeliners! I have all of them and they are just so beautiful to smudge and when they set they last! I think this brand is good for minimalistic makeup wearers that want quick makeup. It's all the better when you get thins on sale, but if you don't get a lot of makeup it's worth having those everyday pieces with a luxury experience.
I really recommend trying Florasis make up, they're compacts are beautiful and from what I've seen of people trying it out, the colours are vibrant and come through amazingly
Hot take but...I think they're overhyped. They market specifically to westerners because we like kitsch faux traditional looking things. Don't get me wrong I probably gasped when I first saw them but embossing isn't difficult and it's a successful gimmick.
The compact is plastic-free and refillable, so I'd consider it actually more green than the average cardboard compacts that have plastic on them, and are using trees. Yay for refillable luxury!!

I think we need to stop thinking just because a powder product is "dusty" that its a lower quality or something to be bothered by. There’s a reason when a company doesn’t press a product too hard. The same as just because a eyeshadow doesn’t swatch nicely immediately ppl say its low quality
I don’t think it makes it low quality. Perhaps I should have been clearer when explaining why I didn’t like it in these particular products. For example I don’t mind it in eyeshadow palettes, but If the shades were separated, it wouldn’t be a big deal for me, although I don’t like messy makeup, but if a darker shade makes it’s way into the lighter shade I’m not personally a fan of that. Again, I don’t think it lessons the quality of the product.. I don’t believe I said that in the video. Personal preference. 🖤 oh I also have to add, the texture of a powder brush will kick up more powder. For an expensive bronzer, that’s ALOT of wasted powder that came off.

I love this brand. The skincare is A mazing!! My skin ( I am 53 yrs old) looks better than it did when I as 18. The eyeliners are the BEST! If I am going to spend money on makeup......this is the makeup I am buying. Great packaging, great wear, beautiful colors. And Robert, you are the BEST! I have learned so much! It doesn't matter if the look is wearable or not....it is about learning the techniques !

Hi Robert!I find most products from VB are great quality. The eyebrick in Signature is one of this understated eyeshadow palettes..it doesn't look very special but it is amazing for every day! I have tweed and Signature. I love the lipsticks but the eyeliners are fenomenal for sensitive eyes!I have almost all colours and cocoa and bronze are my go to but also the others are just as good...waiting for a green eyeliner hopefully soon! And the lipliners!the number 2 is my go to!I find that all VB products are sophisticated in general

I can’t even tell you how many old, high end makeup compacts, etc. I’ve collected. I lost count years ago. You’re absolutely right! The vintage packaging has such a different feel to it. They’re gorgeous!
Everyday wearable? Whaaaaa? I've learned so much from you Robert. My skin is fair, eyes are light, hair is light, we're visual opposites but I cherish your looks and can apply them to suit me. Oh goodness! People🙄
I’ve only tried a couple of her mascaras. They were okay, but not my favorite. The formula was okay. It did not cause my eyes to tear, which is good, and while one was intended to simply be glossy, more or less and it met that mark, however, the other was supposed to give volume and it really did very little. The component was lovely, seemed to be made of a glass-type material (as Robert said), was heavy and felt luxurious in your hands. I am willing to try other products, as nothing has aggravated my allergies so far, so it may be worth the cost to me.

Yess to this brand review 💛 I purchased the bronzing brick during the VB 20% sale after seeing a few of my favourite makeup youtubers talk about it (esp Charlotte Holdcroft) and I have never looked back (though I am a newbie to bronzer). I like that shade 01 does not give me that "I have been using fake tan" bronze and it lasts well + I don't need a light/make up expert hand to apply it in order to not look over the top. I also went back to order the lip tint but during the Cult Beauty BF event bc the VB shipping is more expensive and less reliable than good trusted CB 🙌🏻 Packaging is sublime and the products have not disappointed one bit, will definitely order more from the brand, but likely during a sale xD I was hoping their blush and mascara might make this video bc I have them on my wishlist but very happy to see your opinion on the brick!! P.S thank you for a more "wearable" look, though I am not one of the ppl who requested but as a newbie it encourages me to play with/buy the makeup more 💛

I love VB line, especially her Lid Lustre in Mink, so gorgeous. Her blushes are fantastic, easy to use und last all day even under the mask. Her lipsticks smoothes my lips, as if I have the smoothest lips ever. Her pencil liners are the best, creamy and stay put.

I don't want to see boring wearable! Anyone can do boring, neutral, wearable eye makeup. I want to see Robert sculpt a bold, glamourous editorial look with vibrant, rich colours that you would only go outside with if you felt incredibly powerful and vivacious regardless of the time of day! I love it when Robert flexes his MUA skills and shows us a look that makes you really go wow! But also you do such beautiful wearable looks so never mind me!
I literally never wear foundation. I think I own one foundation and that’s all. However, that priming moisturiser I wear everyday. It makes my skin look incredible. The golden shade is stunning. I don’t feel like I need foundation as it makes my skin look so good :)
I am also a collector of vintage compacts/lipstick tubes (and perfume bottles) because they are mini art pieces for me - I love the VB eye packaging and will purchase just to have it, thank you for this video!

Hey Robert! Just wanted to say that you have inspired many others to begin using those "non-wearable" eyeshadow colors on their palettes, out. And we're so much more confident when working with bold colors because of your tips on how to handle each color we put on, and where darker shades would go on different types of eyelids. Its the education of playing around with the color spectrum and reshaping different types of eyelids with each of those "non wearable" colors is what we are here for. Its the bronzer colors that brings certain depths to diff cheekbones. Its the different blush colors that would go well for certain eye looks. Its the filling of the brows and the types of eyeliner styles that "pulls" your face up. Its the strategic highlight, contour, & so much more knowledgeable content that we watch you for. Yes! Try VB Kajol eye liners! So silky and stay in place. Aaaand... can be used as a shadow, if you blend them out before they set. Such a breeze to use. Bronze color is my fav. It's like a lighter brown eyeliner color with a touch of olive green! Seriously... my new fave eyeliners! I do like her balmy lippies too. The rest of her stuff is...nice. Like you said.
Some of my hg products are from Victoria Beckham! The satin kajal liners specifically in the shades cinnamon and cocoa, the posh gloss in bikini, and I love all of the eye wear eyeshadow sticks but my favorite two for a quick out the door look are pecan and trench, both the liners and the shadow stick blend out so beautifully but they wear SO LONG and once they set theyre not coming off or moving until I cleanse my face. I actually really love the primer also but I have extremely dry skin.

It makes your skin look better even if you don't use foundation. The lip products are all very good. The one dud for me are the lid lusters. I have thin hooded lids, they crease and look messy. Definitely not for my eye type. The other eye products are perfect. Uncomplicated luxury is how I would describe this line.

@@annaelisavettavonnedozza9607 I have both primers. I'm a little too pale in the winter to pull of the golden. When I have little more color going its perfect. Unless you are very pale and have very pink undertones, its wearable for anyone. The lipstick its very creamy almost balmy. I have to be careful with undertones. I am pale olive with naturally dark lips. A lot of lipstick pulls orange on me. So I have a hard time choosing colors online. The shade Pose is neutral and grungy. I love it. Play is definitely a dark cool red. Don't have Moody, looks like it might have more purple in it. Hope that helps.

Victoria's eyeliners are hands down the best ones I've ever used, and I stopped trying to use any other brand now for eyeliner. If you have super sensitive eyes, they are the absolute winners (all others usually give me probs)!! I do hope you can get your hands on those and experience how great those are!!
I had her perfume years ago back when her and David had his and hers perfume. Idk what happened but I can't find it anymore and I LOVED it!!

@@asena1181 I use them to line my lid, tightline, and waterline. They are *very* soft and creamy. My eyes are exceedingly teary, so it's hard for me to truly say how well they wear for tightline and waterline for average eyes. For me, the lid and tightline stay put, the waterline I do have to touch up (but that's with any pencil for me). The beauty of these is the colors and how creamy and *non-irritating* they are. Just about *every* pencil known to man hurts me upon application or irritates me during wear. Not these! They are amazing!

I love Chanel and Dior eyeshadows because they are perfect for work. They are subtle and don't require me to blend for hours because of pigments. It's amazing especially on low lights, they show so nice since I work inside the office. And for the color choices, it's because we can't wear purple in the office, we usually use blue, brown and burgundies and grey.

Honestly, one of my favorite things about Robert’s “looks”, particularly his eyeshadow, is how “not wearable” they are. That’s how I do my eye shadow-always bright colors and shimmers on the lid. That’s my style. I love when I find others who share in that :)

Overall, her line has fail-safe options. I have ALL of her line and the standouts for me are:
The primer (in Golden) -- it's an added layer of moisture, finish, and glow. Sometimes I can skip foundation, and I when i use it, I need less.
The lip liners and lippies -- I love the curation of shades/colors, and I love the refreshing look. Certain colors do wear longer.
The bitten lip tint is quite nice. A moist and juicy stain.
*THE SATIN KAJAL PENCILS* -- These are my holy grail pencils. They are *very* soft and smudgeable, true kajal. You can smudge them into shadow easily, too. The colors -- omg. Trust me on this one!
Can’t wait to see what more she comes out with this year. I have two of her blush sticks in Playground and Miniskirt and they are they only two blushes I reach for on a day to day. They blend and stay on even with masks and such all day. I also really love the Bitten Lip Tint in Amour, it’s the perfect peachy-browny-nude for everyday. Hoping she launches concealer and brow this year.

@@OsloTime I will say the lip tint isn’t so long wearing but the color wears away evenly and slowly so there’s no obvious line where it’s gone, if that makes sense. I usually reapply after lunch and then maybe again after work if I’m going out… but not really going out with the pandemic so 😅 lol. Lipliner as a base helps with longevity but I like a no-makeup makeup look so I skip it!
That really is the new test of makeup these days lol - how well it stays on under a mask 😷
I have most of her pieces in this line and I love the eyeliners! I have all of them and they are just so beautiful to smudge and when they set they last! I think this brand is good for minimalistic makeup wearers that want quick makeup. It's all the better when you get thins on sale, but if you don't get a lot of makeup it's worth having those everyday pieces with a luxury experience.

Hot take but...I think they're overhyped. They market specifically to westerners because we like kitsch faux traditional looking things. Don't get me wrong I probably gasped when I first saw them but embossing isn't difficult and it's a successful gimmick.
The compact is plastic-free and refillable, so I'd consider it actually more green than the average cardboard compacts that have plastic on them, and are using trees. Yay for refillable luxury!!

I think we need to stop thinking just because a powder product is "dusty" that its a lower quality or something to be bothered by. There’s a reason when a company doesn’t press a product too hard. The same as just because a eyeshadow doesn’t swatch nicely immediately ppl say its low quality
I don’t think it makes it low quality. Perhaps I should have been clearer when explaining why I didn’t like it in these particular products. For example I don’t mind it in eyeshadow palettes, but If the shades were separated, it wouldn’t be a big deal for me, although I don’t like messy makeup, but if a darker shade makes it’s way into the lighter shade I’m not personally a fan of that. Again, I don’t think it lessons the quality of the product.. I don’t believe I said that in the video. Personal preference. 🖤 oh I also have to add, the texture of a powder brush will kick up more powder. For an expensive bronzer, that’s ALOT of wasted powder that came off.

I love this brand. The skincare is A mazing!! My skin ( I am 53 yrs old) looks better than it did when I as 18. The eyeliners are the BEST! If I am going to spend money on makeup......this is the makeup I am buying. Great packaging, great wear, beautiful colors.

Hi Robert!I find most products from VB are great quality. The eyebrick in Signature is one of this understated eyeshadow palettes..it doesn't look very special but it is amazing for every day! I have tweed and Signature. I love the lipsticks but the eyeliners are fenomenal for sensitive eyes!I have almost all colours and cocoa and bronze are my go to but also the others are just as good...waiting for a green eyeliner hopefully soon! And the lipliners!the number 2 is my go to!I find that all VB products are sophisticated in general

Everyday wearable? Whaaaaa? I've learned so much from you Robert. My skin is fair, eyes are light, hair is light, we're visual opposites but I cherish your looks and can apply them to suit me. Oh goodness! People🙄
I’ve only tried a couple of her mascaras. They were okay, but not my favorite. The formula was okay. It did not cause my eyes to tear, which is good, and while one was intended to simply be glossy, more or less and it met that mark, however, the other was supposed to give volume and it really did very little. The component was lovely, seemed to be made of a glass-type material (as Robert said), was heavy and felt luxurious in your hands. I am willing to try other products, as nothing has aggravated my allergies so far, so it may be worth the cost to me.

I purchased the bronzing brick during the VB 20% sale after seeing a few of my favourite makeup youtubers talk about it (esp Charlotte Holdcroft) and I have never looked back (though I am a newbie to bronzer). I like that shade 01 does not give me that "I have been using fake tan" bronze and it lasts well + I don't need a light/make up expert hand to apply it in order to not look over the top. I also went back to order the lip tint but during the Cult Beauty BF event bc the VB shipping is more expensive and less reliable than good trusted CB 🙌🏻
Packaging is sublime and the products have not disappointed one bit, will definitely order more from the brand, but likely during a sale xD I was hoping their blush and mascara might make this video bc I have them on my wishlist but very happy to see your opinion on the brick!!
P.S thank you for a more "wearable" look, though I am not one of the ppl who requested but as a newbie it encourages me to play with/buy the makeup more 💛

I love VB line, especially her Lid Lustre in Mink, so gorgeous. Her blushes are fantastic, easy to use und last all day even under the mask. Her lipsticks smoothes my lips, as if I have the smoothest lips ever. Her pencil liners are the best, creamy and stay put.

I don't want to see boring wearable! Anyone can do boring, neutral, wearable eye makeup. I want to see Robert sculpt a bold, glamourous editorial look with vibrant, rich colours that you would only go outside with if you felt incredibly powerful and vivacious regardless of the time of day! I love it when Robert flexes his MUA skills and shows us a look that makes you really go wow! But also you do such beautiful wearable looks so never mind me!
I literally never wear foundation. I think I own one foundation and that’s all. However, that priming moisturiser I wear everyday. It makes my skin look incredible. The golden shade is stunning. I don’t feel like I need foundation as it makes my skin look so good :)

Hey Robert! Just wanted to say that you have inspired many others to begin using those "non-wearable" eyeshadow colors on their palettes, out. And we're so much more confident when working with bold colors because of your tips on how to handle each color we put on, and where darker shades would go on different types of eyelids. Its the education of playing around with the color spectrum and reshaping different types of eyelids with each of those "non wearable" colors is what we are here for. Its the bronzer colors that brings certain depths to diff cheekbones. Its the different blush colors that would go well for certain eye looks. Its the filling of the brows and the types of eyeliner styles that "pulls" your face up. Its the strategic highlight, contour, & so much more knowledgeable content that we watch you for. Not repetitive neutral 'wearable' looks.
So please don't let such comments get to you and create an impact to your style.

Yes! Try VB Kajol eye liners! So silky and stay in place. Aaaand... can be used as a shadow, if you blend them out before they set. Such a breeze to use. Bronze color is my fav. It's like a lighter brown eyeliner color with a touch of olive green! Seriously... my new fave eyeliners! I do like her balmy lippies too. The rest of her stuff is...nice. Like you said.
Some of my hg products are from Victoria Beckham! The satin kajal liners specifically in the shades cinnamon and cocoa, the posh gloss in bikini, and I love all of the eye wear eyeshadow sticks but my favorite two for a quick out the door look are pecan and trench, both the liners and the shadow stick blend out so beautifully but they wear SO LONG and once they set theyre not coming off or moving until I cleanse my face. I actually really love the primer also but I have extremely dry skin.
