Thanks so much for the prompt reply. Yes I have seen the flight video as well. Still unsure how the wing is assembled/disassembled. It appears that the wing tips are just held on with tape??
Sounds and looks really good. Really wanting to pull the trigger on this soon. Has anyone else received and flown theirs? How was it? What would be some comparable planes to the PNP model?
Great video, sounds like a great glider. one question though: Does the wing break down for transport without too much fuss. Looking forward to your reply as I am in a hurry to buy one Regards Liell
Yup.. That would be a fantastic option. Guess the challenge is keeping shipping costs and packing size to a cheap option.... Well cheap enough that we will buy it!
Nice looking, light model. How does it fly? I really hope you can share some flying footage. And I am sure many folks will go get one as soon they you flying it.
@@RTRCTV OK Cool. So I ordered the ATF version. Now I am waiting for (4) 4.3g & (2) 9g servos, 980KV motor and a 30A ESC. Looks like a nice promising glider. Looks like an electric evolution of a DLG style glider. Can't wait to test it out!..
clicking on the BG link it is $367. so are you talking about the kit cost i assume? the way you describe it $200 is unreal for the PNP version or they increased the price because of your very good review
@@RTRCTV from all your observations i agree that even the increased price is fair. Btw.: over here in CA we have beautiful flying weather and i hope we are soon getting your video. I bought a while back their ASW28 for $120 and it has also increased to $215. so it seems all prices went up.
Hey.. No idea. Not found any info on it. I am, hoping to get sok thermal footage. It thermals superbly. Unfortunately weather over past few weeks has not been suitable for this model :( Will get it out as soon as some nice weather returns and get some aerial footage.
@@phildiamond7317 lol.. Both flying.. But composite gliders (non foam) are faster.. More efficient.. And general outfly any foamy. Different league all together.
I'll be checking out that plane, could be one that fits my needs.

Hey.. Exactly that.
Pop them on to the joiners and a small strip of tape to make sure they don't disconnect

Hi. Can you remove the horizontal stabiliser for transport. Thanks. Great video
Yes. Two bolts and removal of the pull wire from the horn
Hi. Interested to know the actual flying weight.
Keen to see a flight video.
Me too. What with the weather lately and lock down... Its proving difficult. Annoyingly all the flight footage I did take was corrupt.

Hey.. Yes. Wing breaks into 3 parts.
If you check the channel you will find a flight video :)
It's nice but I want a 2.6 meter version! That would be an instant buy I think in that case. Really need both.

It is utterly fantastic. Not managed to get it out with a camera man handy in ages. Lock down and winter in UK have been a bit unhelpful :(

Suspect they increases the price. Don't think I would have ordered at 367. That being said.. Its worth it!

interesting now i see the PNP version for $659 and kit for $519. increases more than bitcoin :)

Hi! any updates? i'm really curious how this bird flies :)
Hopefully soon. Been waiting for some good weather.
It flew really well. I enjoy it.
Hey.. I pulled it out today.. So ready for next decent day of weather :)
@@RTRCTV talk is cheap, flying video please
@@es1951 lol.. Soo many people want a flying video of this model!
It's on my list.. Just had too many other things on the list!
On mine the cords for rudder and elevator rub on the balsa frame inside. And how do you fix the wing tips or disassamble it for transport?
No issue at all if they rub. This is the benifit of the Spring system. Super easy to make work.
I just use some tape to secure the Wings.
Hi! any luck with new video ?:)
and could you share photos how did you mount battery and rx inside?
Will have the follow up video for within the next 2 weeks
Is there a video yet?
Thanks!
Yes. Search the channel.
Do you know what airfoil it uses? Is there a video showing thermal flying? Thanks!

I'm guessing this is better than a foam wing glider?
Totally. Designed for a very different purpose. The built up structure is allot lighter than foam.
@@RTRCTV What is the very different purpose? Aren't they both designed for soaring? Sincere question. Thank you!
