    • Unboxing of Rare Beatl...
    🎶 What we're exploring:
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out:
    • First jazz album to sell over a million copies.
    • Famous for unusual time signatures like "Take Five" in 5/4 time.
    • Mastered & Cut by Bernie Grundman at his studio.
    • AP release on 2LPs, 45RPM.
    • Hands down, best version of “Take Five” I’ve ever heard.
Dean Martin - Dream With Dean: The Intimate Dean Martin:
    • Captures a laid-back, intimate side of Dean Martin.
    • Mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound.
    • Another AP release across two 45RPM records.
    • Dean’s vocals are front and centered, and the record is dead quiet.
Ahmad Jamal Trio - Ahmad Jamal At The Pershing:
    • Recorded live at the Pershing Lounge in Chicago in 1958.
    • Features classic trio lineup: Jamal, Crosby, Fournier.
    • AP, QRP 200g mono release.
    • Sound is well balanced and fills the room.
Musical Youth - The Youth Of Today:
    • Debut album featuring the massive hit "Pass the Dutchie."
    • Blends reggae with pop elements.
    • Sounds good for a 42-year-old pressing with some surface noise.
    The Beatles - The Beatles:
    • Known as the "White Album," released in 1968 as a double LP.
    • Features a wide range of musical styles.
    • MOFI release, remastered and cut by Stan Ricker.
    • Sounds phenomenal.
Marc Anthony - Muevense (Signed Cover):
    • Limited edition album with a signed cover by Marc Anthony.
    • Showcases Anthony's vibrant salsa style.
    • Includes both upbeat dance tracks and romantic ballads.
Joe Walsh - The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get:
    • Released in 1973, Joe Walsh's second solo studio album.
    • Showcases Walsh's eclectic style.
    • AP 45 release, mastered by Kevin Gray at Coherent Audio.
    • Dynamic with a large sound stage.
John Coltrane - Coltrane Plays The Blues:
    • Recorded in 1960, released in 1962.
    • Highlights Coltrane's blend of blues and avant-garde jazz.
    • AP QRP (Atlantic 75), mastered by Ryan Smith.
    • Praised for emotional depth and technical brilliance.
    Yes - 90125:
    • Released in 1983, marked a major comeback for Yes.
    • Features the hit single "Owner of a Lonely Heart."
    • Known for a more pop-oriented sound.
    • Fantastic, straight demo album quality.
    Santana - Santana:
    • Debut album released in 1969.
    • Blend of rock, blues, and Latin music.
    • 2023 repress, KW mastered, pressed at RTI.
    • Great dynamics and large soundstage.

Time Out is my favorite jazz recording of all time. Miles and Coltrane come in second for me.

Such a great album! Can never go wrong with Coltrane and Miles. I also love me some Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, and Gabor Szabo. 🎶
